Hiccups POV•
I sat all my stuff by my bed and Toothless sat down beside me "this is gonna be a long night bud" I told Toothless as I laid down in bed "so Hiccup what type of dog is he?" "Give it up already you don't want to see my bad side!" I said trying to be intimidating "so Hiccup what kind of dog is he" A boy named Tuffnut said
I put the pillow on my head to stop myself from having a mental breakdown Toothless on the other hand hit his head on the bed trying to hide "yeah just what I thought Hiccup Horrendous Haddock is weak!" Tuffnut said walking away I was never treated as an equal always bullied and always rejected I try to show strength but I always get beat up
"What type of dog? Im getting tired" Fishlegs complained "yeah and im Gonnakillyouinyoursleep wanna talk sometime?" I said hoping that would shut him up Toothless seemed pleased and so did I
I heard Fishlegs gulp in fear the night became long and quiet so I took out my phone and went to my contacts and started to text my dad
The text read
Hey dad training is going great
No reply
I think I made a few friends
No reply
I wish you where here
No reply
I got a pet his name is Toothless he's my best friend

And with that I turned off my phone and stared at the ceiling "good night bud" I said before finally falling asleep

Toothless' POV•
I saw the boy became depressed I felt that he was sad deep inside the boy grabbed out a little glowing box and started moving his fingers across it ( haven't figured it out yet his phone)
Minutes later the boy put the glowing box down and stared at the sky "goodnight bud" the boy said before falling asleep "goodnight" I replied know he or anyone else would hear me I wish people did understand me I would have friends and Hiccup wouldn't be annoyed
I laid on the boys stomach thinking just thinking
About what life would be like if people understood me
I would know a lot more than I do now but I remember what I was told when I was a cub "sometimes it's best not to know much more than you need to all you need to know is about your needs and your loved ones needs not about what other people are doing or saying"
