The next four weeks after their first date, DJ and Kara had been out ever weekend since then. None being as exciting as the first one, but they both enjoyed them none the less.
They went out to concerts, restaurants, the drive-in, even just walking around the town.
The cheerleaders and the popular girls were shocked when they heard that Kara Denvers had been the one to tie DJ down.
The mysterious Ghost Rider still made his appearances, mostly taking out muggers and burglars. He never interfered with any more of the super girls fights.
Most of the girls were still jealous even now, but that wasn't the most pressing issue. On some of the dates Kara was called out to deal with super villains on some of them, and she was starting to worry if DJ would start thinking that she was ditching him because she didn't want to be in a relationship with him.
There was one solution for that, however...
Kara's p.o.v
"No absolutely not" Diana said as we made our way to school. Normally we wouldn't be going to school this late at night, but we were doing some extra curricular thing because we were missing classes too much this month.
Wasn't our fault most villains attacked during the school day.
"But why?" I whined tugging at her arm like a little kid. I wanted to tell DJ that I was Supergirl, then at least he wouldn't think I was ditching him for no reason.
"If you do and he, even if by accident tells someone then that puts you and him in danger" Diana said trying to make me see it.
I knew she were right, but it still hurts when I had to leave telling him it was a family emergency or the times that I couldn't even tell him anything and just said I needed to go home.
"Okay" I said defeated looking down. We continued to walk to school. When we got there, I seen the familiar black metal of my boyfriend's charger.
"DJ!" I yelled running up to him. He caught me and twirled me around, kissing me on the lips.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as he set me down.
"I figured I'd come and do some extra... whatever. Keep ya company" he answered wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
I smiled and put my head into his shoulder as we walked into the school and seen the other people who were also doing this, either out of bad attendance like us or volunteering.
Doris Zeul, Leslie Willis, Pamela Isley and Harleen Quinzel were already there. Yep this was going to be a great night.
"Mr Williamson, Mrs Denvers, please refrain from doing that please" the teacher said seeing me and DJ walking and kissing. Reluctantly we stopped, getting a groan of relief from the girls who were already there.
"Thank god" Doris said crossing her arms. I smiled before snuggling into his shoulder again.
"Okay so, next week is spring break so we need to make sure that everything is okay to survive that long. And since most of you... actually all of you except Mr Williamson are here because of your attendance" the teacher said.
"So Misses Karen, Jessica, and Pamela you three will be in the kitchen and cafeteria, making sure all the food and utensils are put away and nothing that is left out will spoil" he said as they went off into the kitchen.
"Doris, Leslie, Diana and Barbara, you will be moping the floors and cleaning up classrooms" he said handing the mops and buckets to the girls.
"And the rest of you will be cleaning up the library, and Harleen please keep the two lovebirds in check" he asked as Harleen nodded and saluted him.
