Third person view

Kara woke up to the sound of a baby crying. She groaned slightly before opening her eyes.

She was greeted by a white mattress and blankets. Next to her was her husband of two years, DJ just waking up.

"Your son is up" he said trying to fall back asleep but Kara hit him in the gut.

"We had a deal. Before eight o'clock, he's your son" she said. He looked at her before smiling.

"But he sounds like he wants his turn at those puppies" he said making a gesture. Kara gasped before hitting him lightly below the gut.

"There's milk in the fridge" she said laughing. He chuckled the best he could before getting up and leaving the room.

He walked down the hallway passing a line of pictures as he did. One was of their wedding surrounded by the superhero girls and their boyfriends and husbands. Just use your guys favorite pairings from the show. 

And then he passed a picture from a cut out newspaper. It showed Ghost Rider and Supergirl kissing in front of a bunch of tied up bank robbers.

He smiled at that one. It had been hard keeping Kara from doing her superhero stuff while she was pregnant with Jacob. But enough persuasion from her friends she did.

DJ entered the baby blue nursery with the white crib in the middle of it. He went over to the crib and looked down at his six month old son.

"Hey mister man, what's wrong?" he asked picking up his son. He was almost a perfect combination of Kara and DJ. With his dirty blonde hair and Kara's blue eyes.

"You hungry huh?" he asked before walking into the kitchen. DJ smiled at his son as he put the bottle in the microwave and started to warm it up.

Suddenly Jacob stared at his father with a blank stare. Suddenly his blue eyes turned red.

DJ ducked just in time as two lasers shot out of his son's eyes. They shot through the wall that separated the living room from the patio, melting two holes in it. He looked back up at his son in amazement as Jacob just laughed and babbled.

"Hey Honey. You remember how you always said you better be around for Jacob's first power" he yelled running back to the bedroom. "You're never gonna believe this" he said entering the room.

So this was just a short story and to be honest I kinda lost interest in this.
