Chapter 7

1 Year Later
"I'm sorry Yuzu but my decision is final...I'm going to marry Udugawa in order to inherit the academy"Mei spoke out as she glared at Yuzu's vibrant green eyes."Mei you honestly can't be serious YOUR SERIOUSLY JUST GOING TO FUCKING THROW AWAY WHAT WE HAD FOR YOUR TWISTED GRANDAD".Yuzu shouted as her eyes started to tear up. Mei turned around avoiding Yuzu's eyes. "M-my decision is final what we had was never going to happen now don't be selfish and don't interfere with my affairs". Mei said sternly and walked away not bothered to look  at Yuzu's expression.
Hehe I guess you are right I am selfish.Yuzu thought and fell on her knees as tears started flowing down her cheeks.

2 Months later
Mei was in her room in the Aihara mansion since she didn't want to go back to her old house with her ex lover. She was in her bed quietly sobbing while she held the ring Yuzu gave her and held it up to her chest squeezing it."Y-yuzu.. I still mi-miss you" Mei mumbles as more tears started to flow down her pale skin as her hair was in a mess. Her grandfather sighed and knocked on her door.

"Mei I know you are supposed to be sleeping now but I just want to remind you about... well the wedding with you and Mr Udugawa -san will be be happening next week "Mei hated the thought of marrying someone other than her stepsister. She cleared her voice."Yes grandfather thank you for reminding me" Mei tried to speak out clearly since she doesn't want her grandfather to notice her crying. He just sighed "I know this must be hard on you Mei but this is for your own good. I invited all our relatives and the Okogi family... well the Aihara snow". Mei already knew that Yuzu probably wasn't going to show up at the wedding. "Thank you grandfather"Mei spoke out. "Sorry for taking up your time you can go to sleep now" Her grandfather said as he left.
I don't want to marry some man I just want my yuzu my onee-chan. Mei cried herself to sleep as the room started getting darker.

1 week later
"Mr Udugawa, do you vow that till on this day that you will love and support your wife Mei Aihara" The priest as he turned to look at him. Udugawa looked at the girl who had an emotionless expression. "Yes I vow that I will love and support her in sickness and health as we continue to grow old" He smiled but couldn't help but to notice the poor raven haired girl's expression.
"And do you Mei Aihara cow that till on this day that you will love and support your husband Udugawa". The priest spoke out to her. Mei glared at the priest then to the smiling man. "Yes I vow that I will love and support him in sickness and health" I just want yuzu.
"Do you Mr Udugawa take Mei Aihara to be your lawfully wedded wife" The priest spoke.
"Yes I do".Mr Udugawa spoke out and held Mei's hand then smiled at her.
"And do you Mei Aihara take this this man Udugawa to be your lawfully wedded husband".The priest said. Mei trembled slightly and looked at everyone sitting down then at her grandfather who just gave her a death stare. "I-I..."

Yuzu was depressed and ate less but somehow still had good abs. She started to cry a lot and secretly drank and smoked when no one was around which was a major issue she couldn't cope with. She had bags under her eyes due to the lack of sleep she's had and out came Ume.
"Mei would have wanted you to be at her wedding but I could see why you backed out"Ume said as she gave a sigh and couldn't help but worry about her daughter. "But you have to eat something". She said as she gave Yuzu a tray of food that she knew she wouldn't eat but gave it to her anyway. Yuzu just gave her a weak smile
"Mama you don't have to worry about me I'm doing fine" Yuzu said with a raspy voice due to her dry throat "Dear also get something to drink your going to lose your voice and also please take care of yourself" Ume said as she walked out and left an emotionless yuzu who sat on her bed. I know I'm selfish but I miss her- Heh I bet she marry him already. Yuzu thought as she laid down on her bed. "Life is meaningless without Mei what's the point in living" Yuzu mumbles up as she began to shed a few tears.
I hate that I loved her
