Chapter 12

Yuzu finished her breakfast and done the dishes. She was in her casual clothes and couldn't help but continue to worry about what would happen to Mei. She was zoned out while Mei was in the shower getting ready. Why is she Higoshi clan going after her bit not me?. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door. Yuzu sighed and opened the door. Her eyes met with a grinning girl with hazel eyes that was wearing some shorts and a belly top with a leather jacket. She came in and wrapped her arms on her making yuzu not breathe a bit. "YUZUCHI IM SORRY I DIDNT COME YESTERDAY!". Harumin screamed at the top of her lungs. "H-Harumin... jeez you don't have to shout I'm okay a-and mind letting go.I dont want my best friend to kill me now don't we?" Yuzu teased a bit as Harumin just had a giddy face. "Very funny I forgot to laugh". Harumin said sarcastically as she stared at Yuzu's emerald eyes. "It's just that matsuri is at work and well... I'm bored as shit so I decided to hang out with my bestie that I haven't seen in ages". Harumin said as she chuckled.Yuzu smiled. "I mean I don't have to do any more boring paperwork since I'm now Mei's bodyguard". Yuzu said as she sighed a bit which Harumin noticed.

"Let me guess, things aren't going too well with you and the prez?" Harumin asked. Yuzu just closed the door and both girls sat on the coach. "I mean she did apologise b-but I don't know if I should well you know... forgive her easily". Yuzu said worriedly. Harumin understood what she said and couldn't help but feel sorry for her. She placed her hand on hers as yuzu looked at her. "Hey, let's think too much about it yuzuchi". Harumin said and yuzu smiled a little knowing how supportive her friend is. "Your right so tell me what does matsuri do then because her getting a job? I'm surprised". Yuzu said and Harumin chuckled a little. "She's a business woman at this company she works with not far from here". Harumin said and yuzu sat in shock. "Matsuri doing this? Wow sounds like she's changed". Yuzu said and started to think. But she's only like 18 thats a little young. Yuzu thought. "She started this like 2 weeks ago and she is still kinda training into it since she's still not used to it". Harumin said as she as she let out a long sigh. "I guess my girlfriend is full of surprises". Harumin said out loud but blushed a little realising she said her thoughts out loud. Yuzu giggled softly.

Mei was dressed and freshened up. She couldn't help but let out a low growl as she clenched her fists and was spying on the two in discreet. She hated the way that Harumin held her hand or the way she looked at her. Mei knew that Harumin was dating someone else but couldn't help but feel jealous over yuzu. Mei just sighed and walked down the stairs acting as if she didn't hear anything. Yuzu noticed Mei walking down. "Yuzu, you didn't tell me your friend was coming over next time inform me". Mei said while sitting on the coach. Yuzu just forced a smile "jeez Mei I just came back and your still stern and strict". Yuzu said as she scratched the back of her head. "Yeah Prez I mean cmon it's just me not some stranger so loosen up a bit". Harumin said as she leaned her arm over Mei's shoulder which made Mei felt uncomfortable. "Taniguchi-San get off and yuzu we have to go somewhere so I can pick a few things out". Mei said staring at yuzu and yuzu just groaned. "Ugh fine lemme just grab my jacket". Mei just started at yuzu going upstairs and then looked at Harumin. "Well I guess I will leave you two lovebirds to it then hehe". Harumin said teasing Mei a bit. Mei's eyes widened and blushed a bit but then gave a glare to Harumin. "TANIGUCHI SA-". Mei got interrupted with a giggling Harumin shutting the door and Mei just sighed to herself. Will I ever get her back.

Yuzu went to her shared room and took her jacket. Her pocket buzzed and yuzu got her phone out seeing who called her. She saw who it was and groaned. "Let me guess, you came in here to tell me stuff I already know?". Yuzu said in a cold voice. "Listen you ungrateful shit just because you left the country doesn't mean you know what the higoshi clan is doing". The man said while he sighed. "I know Toshi it's just well you know gramps called saying that the enemy could be disguised". Yuzu said as she put on her jacket. "Thing is i got a call about a stupid threat but that's not all yuzu their got backup so be extra alert when coming out, yeah?"Toshi said as he ran his fingers through his hair. "Got it k bye now". Yuzu said and hung up. Great more shit to deal with .
