***Mady's POV***

"You have to have a big 17th birthday party sis!" Bell said. I just replied with a big sigh. "Fine but I dont get why it's so important. I'm just turning seventeen it's not like i'm becoming a princess." Bell justed stared at me, the look on her face showed utter hatred. I knew she really wanted this party and that she didnt really hate me.

Heres a check list about my life:

1 I have a creepy father not to mention he's soooooo hairy! They told me it was just because of his genetics and that it was common in the males of his family.

2 My mum died when I was 6 and no one will tell me how she died. I guess they just thought I couldn't handle it but really, I'm 16 now. 17 tomorrow.

3 There's a massive house nearby and there are 2 creepy brothers one of which my sister is dating. She is madly in love with him I think they are going to get married. I called dibs on maid of honour.

4 Someone called Paul adopted us and he beats me if I do anything wrong. Paul was nice at first but then all the stress after his promotion cause him a lot of pain. So he started drinking.

5 Every summer Bell goes and see's our father but I cant go - I honestly don't know why, Bell says its because i wasn't ready yet. So I hide in my room away from Paul in case he wants some 'fun' it only happened once and I hit him with his bottle of wine to knock him out. but I wont risk it. i'm too scared.

"Mady. Mady," my sister said while shaking my shoulders.

"I must have zoned out. soss," I said getting of the couch. "Come on we've got to go to school. I can't be late for chemistry again or he'll call Paul," I spoke no louder that a whisper. I grabbed my bag and headed to the door. I was dreading going to school, I had chemistry with Gage. He's Leo's older brother. Leo is my sisters boyfriend.
