***Gage's POV***

I saw her just sat there in Chemistry. Ever since i was 17 i knew she was my mate but ofiously i couldn't tell her before she fased. I could have just mess everything up for us. She looked so flawless with her snow white hair shaping her face. Her eyes are an electric blue, a prfect little nose and cute ears. Her entire image just made me want to hold her and never let her go.

She turned to me and our eyes locked. She blushed and looked away. I just love it when she blushed she looked so inicent. I turned my attention to Mr Peters as he walked through the door. He started the lesson with a short pop quiz and then he started to talk to us about a project.

"Ok class,"Mr peters started ,"Your project is to find a way that when you drop an egg of the roof of the school without it braking." He paused some one at the front put their hand up to ask a question. Mr Peters just glared at him saying, "You didn't let me finish. You need to design a case to protect the egg. Now partner up."

I jumped up and strode over to her and sat beside her. I knocked something of the desk and she jumped at the noise.

I reached forward to wipe some of her hair out of her face but when she saw my hand close to face she went pale and her eyes were filled with pain and fear. Tears were starting to form in her eyes. Just then i remembered my beta's mate was her sister and she had told us that they had a abusive step father.

I drew me hand away and my wolf was crying out to tell her it will be ok and that i would take care of her i would just have to wait till tonight when she fazes. Then i would declare her mine and i would mark her then she definatly would be mine and only mine.

She wiped her eyes and carried on with her work.

I was about to say something but i couldn't the bell went of saying it was time for next period. We both had a free period so i thought i would see Mady. i was about to go to the library but i was stopped by someone shoving me against the wall.

I leet out a groan because i hit my head I heard someone chuckle at my weakness i had already new it was my half brother Joshua!

"hello, Gage. I just thought i would pay you a visit i thought i could attend the ceremony for the new wolf."He said starring down at me he had a evil smile on his face. I got up of the floor and glared at him, "You are noy attending Mady's ceremony all you'll do is take advantage of her. Anyway she's not your mte if you were thinking she would be!" "Oh. So shes you're mate then that will just make it even more enjoyable when she is mine." He turned and started down the hallway to exit the school and on his way he was chanting," She'll be mine one day and there's nothing you can do about it" with that he laughed to him self and left.

I walked round the corner to find the library doors shut as if they were never opened. I knew she was in there from my enhansed senses.

I pushed open the door only to find an angel sat on the couch reading a book. She acted as if i wasn't here while i walked over to were she sat. I sat next to her and my hand fell down next to her leg as soon as she saw it she got up and was starring at me.

"Whats your problem? I have deliberatly been avioding you and you take that as a message saying follow me. Follow me, i have had enough problems in life and i don't need a psycho stalker."

Every word hit me like a ton of bricks. By the time she had finished tears were streaming down her cheeks. I shot up and wrapped her in my arms she struggled a bit then gave up and cryed in my shoulder.

I was finaly holding her in my arms. I was rubbing her back in soothing motions and she stoped crying. She pulled back and look me in my eyes and said one word.

"Why?"
