The chase (part 2)

***Gages POV***

I was chasing her. Man can this girl run fast and she only fazed yesterday! Her sister and leo were by my side following her scent.

OH NO!!! She has gone onto his territory. There was nothing i could do now. I could see her she was about 100 feet away from me. I could tell she was scared even though the trees hide all the light from the sun.

I could smell Joshua and he was close. Before 5 minutes had passed he stepped out from behind a tree and started to walk over to Mady.

Move! MOVE MADY MOVE!!!! She was frozen and wouldn't budge an inch. He grabbed her arm and turned to face us.

"So this is your mate then she is very beautiful but shes mine now!" Right thats it im going to kill

him.

'Gage calm down' Leo said through our mind link. I watched as he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him. It broke my heart to see her upset. I could feel my canines grow as he pulled her hair exposing her neck. He leant down and put his teeth on her neck.

He straightened up and said, "You know this will be quite pleasurable and to make it better you get to watch!"

Mady started to freak out and she fainted. He was about to mark her but before he could i knocked him to the ground and i went all SUPER NINGA on his butt. Leo caught Mady before she hit the flaw and was carrying her bridal style.

I turned my attention to Joshua i was about to break his nose but his eyes were red and when he opened his mouth, the had FANGS!!!

I threw one last punch and he blacked out. Thank god. I couldn't believe he was half vampire. They dont exist any more! Don't they? Oh well i will just have to ask the elders i took Mady of Leo and carried her back home. She was gonna be a handful!

'Back at the house'

Everyone had left already so it was just me, Leo, Belle and my mate. She still hasn't wocken up yet!

We were all sat i the lounge Leo and Belle on the beige love seat and i sat on the brown leather couch with Mady on my lap her head resting on my shoulder.

"Did you notice something different about Joshua when we saw him before?" I asked them. They answered with confused expressions.

"No, why? Wait, did you?" Leo said leaning forward on the chair causing Belle who was leaning on him to fall backwards. I nodded and told him what i saw.

"-as i said before he had fangs but hes a were-" i said but was interrupted by Mady stirring in my arms. I looked down at her and her eyes slowly opened.

"Hey beautiful." I said happily. "Hey." She said simply. Wow. This is the longest time she has been with me without getting angry. Yes! Improvement. But i spoke to soon and she got up and went over to her sister and sat next to her.

We just chatted for a while until, "Hey, who was that man who was in the forest?" Mady asked us. While looking at each one of us in turn.

"Well, that is kind of hard to answer. Its a really long story Mady and it starts with our mum." Belle said trying not to cry. Mady nodded telling her to carry on.

"Well it was about 11 years ago and we went to the fair." Belle started.

'Flashback'

Dad had taken us to the fair for a surprise birthday gift for Mady and we had just gone on the feriswheel. We were heading to the ice cream stall. "Daddy can i have chocolate in mine?" Mady begged while tugging on his sleeve. "Of course sweety."he said smiling.

We were in the line when dad started to act really wierd. He told us to go back to the car straight away. "But daddy what about my ice cream?" Mady asked obviously not happy. Dad just scowled at us and we did what he told us to do.

It took about 10 minutes before dad got into the car. He didn't say a word the entire ride home.

'At the House'

"Hey mummy" i shouted as i ran up the stairs. She was in her room ironing the washing she was a house wife. "Hello hunny. Back so soon i thought you would of stayed for a bit longer.?"she asked while folding the clothes. I simply nodded. Then there was a loud crash down stairs and mum told me to hide in the closet no matter what happened. 5 minutes had gone past and i herd Mady scream so against what my mum told me i climbed out of the closet and crept down stairs.

Mum and dad were unconscious on the floor and there was a tall man and a boy about our age stood above Mady. The man lent down and picked her up and just stared at her. He grabbed a pocket knife up and i thought he was going to kill her but he just cut her palm and then told the boy to 'drink her blood' i was totaly friecked out when he actually did.

They just disappeared after that and never came back but our mum died from blood loss and dad went ballistic and put us up for adoption because he thought we weren't save with him and then Paul adopted us when we were 10.

'Back to present'

Mady was now crying her eyes out and Belle was hugging her. "I never knew that was what happened. I take back everything i said about him." Mady said between whimpers.

Then she did the unexpected she got up and came over to me. I stood up and she hugged me. I felt like i was in heaven with an angel in my arms.

We were all really tired so we headed of to bed the girls shared the guest room while me and Leo had our own rooms. I fell asleep thinking about my angel. Wow this was one eventful day!
