✨ movie night ✨

Emma woke as her phone alarm rung at full volume. Reluctantly she opened her eyes and stretched trying her best to avoid the snooze button for the fourth time this morning. Rolling over she saw her pirate, sleeping peacefully through her countless alarms, as he had once told her living on a pirate ship he had gotten used to loud disturbances. Emma stood up and with one last smile in his direction she left the room and got washed and ready for work, rushing as usual. Just as she grabbed an apple from the counter and hastily opened the door she heard a sleepy voice behind her.

"Thought you could leave without a goodbye kiss did you?" said Killian rubbing his eyes and smiling as he stood at the bottom of the stairs. He tied up his dark blue dressing gown and ruffled his messy black hair as she walked over to him.
"I didn't wanna wake you" She said but was secretly happy he'd woken so she could see him properly before her busy day at work.
"I was wondering" He said in a loving tone as she wrapped her arms round his waist.
"since today is friday, and you dont have work tomorrow" She began to see where he was going with the conversation.
"date night?" He said with a hopeful and flirty look on his face
"nothing would make me happier" She replied with a smile
"takeaway and Netflix?" wondering if he'd understand her modern terms.
He raised one eyebrow in confusion as she smiled up at him as if about to laugh.
"Net-flix and takeaway it is" he said pronouncing it as two separate words. Emma fell into a fit of giggles and rested her head on killians chest. She felt safe and happy, she wanted this moment to last forever, listening to his steady breathing and the feel of his heart beating. Just then someone knocked on the door and let themselves in before Emma or Killian had a chance to open it.
"Hey mom" said Henry as he closed the door before realsing he had walked in on an intimate moment. He stood awkwardly for a second before Emma started talking.
"I thought you were with Regina today?" She said puzzled
"She said she had paperwork building up and didn't want me to get bored" he replied taking his bag off and hanging it on a peg beside the door.
"Sorry kid I'm at work today, you could go-" Emma started to explain before she was interrupted
"I was actually hoping Killian could take me sailing" he said looking at the pirate standing with messy hair, barefoot in a dressing gown.
Killian stopped mid ywan and looked over at Emma with a shocked and confused look on his face. Henry and him hadn't spent very much time together, just the two of them. She was smiling, she couldn't think of anything better than her son and her love spending a day together. She walked over to her son and leaned on the wall next to him.
"I think thats a perfect idea" she said.
Killian smiled
"Aye, weather's just right for sailing today"

Emma had a fairly calm day at work, no monsters, no mysterious disappearances, no one losing their memories just her and her dad sorting out case files and trying to order a new CCTV for the cells.
When she got home she opened the door to see Henry and Killian laughing in the kitchen. Killian had, once again, a look of confusion on his face as he held an uncooked pot noodle in his hand, Henry was trying to explain how the microwave worked.
As the container began to spin round Killians face went even more perplexed as he leant closer and watched the plastic pot turn.
Emma laughed and the pair looked over at her, they hadn't heard come in the door.
"Hey mom" said Henry
"How was work?" He added
"Pretty boring, just paperwork and stuff" she said and grabbed a pot noodle of her own.

"How was sailing?" She asked looking over at her pirate who was smiling
"The lads a natural" he said
Henry smiled and grabbed his phone, he showed hid mom photos of his day. Most had a pinkish blur in the corner presumably where Killian had his finger over the camera. Seeing the photos made her overwhelmed with happiness, Henry had what Emma always wanted growing up, a happy childhood, a family and people who loved him. A tear fell down her cheek.
"Hey hey, its ok love" said Killian wiping her tear with this thumb and putting his arm round her shoulder.
"Im just happy" she said "that i have you, both of you, and we all have eachother"
"Were a family" said Henry taking his mothers hand.
The three of them hugged, all smiling, all happy.

Just then, in a puff of purple smoke Regina appeared in the middle of the hallway.
"Sorry I'm la-" she started stopping after realising she'd interrupted a family moment. Instead of leaving she simply looked Emma in the eye and smiled
"You deserve this Emma, you all do" she said as they broke the hug and Henry walked over to his other mum.
"What did you do today Henry?" Said Regina
"Me and Killian went sailing!" He said with smilinge eyes as he looked at the pirate.
Regina expressed her suprise through a smile and exaggerated
"Really? Were you any good"
"Aye, the boy would be a great pirate" said Killian
Henry and Regina left a few minutes later leaving Emma and Killian alone.
"How about that date then"
He kept giving her glances and smiling, as they gathered blankets and cushions and began to pile them up on the sofa infront of their TV.
"I'll go pick up our pizzas up from grannys be back in five minutes, love" said Killian grabbing his keys and closing the door behind him.
Emma rushed upstairs as soon as he left and dragged a box out from underneath her side of the bed. Inside was a small neatly wrapped present tied with a bow. She took the parcel back to the front room and grabbed a pen from the counter. On a paper tag she wrote,

Dear Killian,
Thought you might finally want to see what you asked me all those years ago in Neverland
Love your swan x

She chuckled at the idea of the expression he might make when he opens it. She placed the suprise under his neatly folded blanket seconds before she heard a quiet key turning at the door.
"Four? You ordered us four pizzas?" He said
"Wel-" she started
"And curly fries, and two hot chocolates with cinnamon" he finished
She couldn't work out if he was annoyed or joking until he laughed and placed the boxed down on their small coffee table.
"Someones hungry"
He threw his jacket on the armchair and kicked off his shoes before sitting down on the couch beside Emma. She crossed her legs beside her and pulled her blanket tighter. Her pirate reached for his blanket and her smile grew as he saw the small box.
"Wh-whats this" asked Killian
"Just a little something, I thought you might like to see instead of Netflix tonight" she replied beckoning him to open it. He looked at it puzzled and started to tear at the paper until it revealed a shiny casing with the title 'disneys peter pan' along the top.
Hooks face went from puzzled to shocked as he tore another layer away and saw a small silver hook.
"Is that!-"
"Yeah" answered Emma before laughing at the utter disbelief spreading across her pirates face. Ripping at the paper he held the dvd in his hand looking up and down the case as he leaned forward in suprise.
"Bloody hell" he said repeatedly each one adding to the blondes laughter until she was almost crying. He held disneys version of peter pan in his hands, the dvd she had wanted to show him for a long time just to see his reaction.
The long black hair and curled wax moustache along with his large nose made Killian speechless.
"Disney didn't exactly flatter you did they" she pointed out as he continued to gaze, mouth open at the dvd.
"Peter pan- hes the bloody hero?!"
"Yep, and you're the villain who wants revenge on a crocodile that ticks because it ate a clock"
He sighed in disbelief as Emma grabbed the dvd and placed it in the box underneath the TV.
