Leo and you were alone inside the Poseidon cabin, where, hopefully, you two wouldn't be interupted by any pestering demigods who ever came along you two.

It was a bright, sunny day, and you were enjoying this peaceful moment together with the one you love. Your head was rested on his shoulder, and he twirls your short, black hair which he always loved to stroke. You chuckled at this, not noticing that you actually did, until Leo asked you.

"Is there something funny, (Y/N?" He asked you, with that quizzical look on his face. Gods, he was adorable, you thought. You faced him and kissed his cheek, shaking your head. Leo looked at you for awhile, then shrugged, while he opened his magic tool belt and picking up various tools. He started to build something without him knowing.

At first, it would freak you out badly on how he would build something unconsciously, but as you guys started dating, you pretty much got used to it.

You minded your own business, and you started humming a song that's been recently went out. You figured that even the god of music, Apollo, would have even went crazy if he had heard the song, but you kept that to yourself.

As you were humming, you haven't realized that Leo was singing along with you.

"I can taste salt water

You started tapping your finger on the headboard, making a beat while humming.

"And pretty soon you'll be floating away

And I'll hold on to the words you spoke of

You began to sang the lyrics, "And I'm captain of this sinking boat now
With just one armband to carry me home."

You decided to join singing in the chorus, so you and him now began to sing the lyrics to the chorus, still making a beat.

"When salted tears won't dry
I'll wipe my shirtsleeves

These hearts will be flooded tonight

Your eyes, your eyes, your eyes, your eyes, your eyes."

You hadn't noticed, but while you two were singing the chorus, Leo started staring at you, and once you ended singing together, you stared back at him with a smile on your face.

"Leo, I never would have thought that you were this good at singing. Have you been practicing?"

Leo cratched the back of his neck, and gave you a lopsided smile. "Sort of. Whenever I get bored building some stuff, I always sing just to add some music while I build. It sometimes improves the things I build. Like, um, this one."

You gasped. What Leo had just finished making was bracelet made out of celestial bronze. You carefully examined it, as if holding such a beautiful piece would destroy it immediatly, but you knew better that Leo was a professional on keeping things together.

As you were examining it, you noticed words were carved out in the middle. It said, Even if you will extinguish the fire that I have made up, the love I have for you will always be there.

You cried out of tears of joy. Just seeing how Leo has put his feelings for you into this masterpiece, you knew how both of your feelings were equally strong for each other, because even though fire and water will be opposites, they will always have similarities that can hold onto each other's hold.
