Mystery Inc. was giving the press a tour of the exhibit.
"Mystery Inc. is proud to donate costumes of criminals we've unmasked in the past." Fred explained
"Like The Black Knight Ghost." Daphne added
"Our second ever case." Fred furthered
"and The 10,000 Volt Ghost, The Skeleton Men..." Velma started
"And even the dreaded Pterodactyl Ghost." Daphne finished
"We've also donated the costumes of some of our more ridiculous looking foes, like The Grimm Grey Knight." Weiss added
"Weiss, can we get a shot of you next to the Roman Tortchwick display?" a reporter asks as she walks off
"Ridiculous, obviously she forgot that dude tried to decapitate us!" Shaggy scoffed
"Reah." Scooby added
"Guys, remember what I told you." Daphne said to the duo
"Never pick your nose in public." Shaggy responds
"No, but that's good too." Daphne replies
"Rimage is everything." Scooby says
"Yes, image is everything. The whole city's watching so try to keep a brave face." Daphne said as the three walked up to the exhibit of The Pterodactyl Ghost which it's looking rather real.
"They're just costumes, you two." Yang says as her and Daphne walk off
The cowardly duo stand there looking at the display for a second.
"She's right, Scoob. Up close they look, totally fake." Shaggy says
The two then seethe costume blink and that gets Shaggy and Scooby running
At the exhibit for The Tar Monster, Yang was explaining the monster.
"From what Mystery Inc. has told me, The Tar Monster scared the locals of the city of Byzantius away in order to take their treasure." Yang explained
"But on the positive side, he'd pave your driveway for free." Fred jokingly said. "Isn't that right, Velma?" Fred said to the fellow detective and noticed she was looking at something
"Velma?" Fred asks again
Velm was sort of speechless when she saw a man with orange hair, an orange goatee, a grey and white suit, a black bowtie, grey pants, black shoes, and square glasses. This was the museum curator, Patrick Weisley. All of a sudden, he slips then gets back up and walks over to Velma.
"Hi." Velma nervously said.
Daphne walks over as Velma does a few introductions. "Daphne, this is Patrick Weisely, he's the curator here at the museum."
"It's very nice to meet you, Patrick. I hope you'll be working closely with our Velma on this ever-expanding exhibit." Daphne replied lightly shoving Velma a little closer
There was a short bit of silence between the two before Patrick stated something.
"Listen, Velma, I know you're some glamorous, mysterious, jet-set adventurer preoccupied with international intrigue and all..." Patrick started
"Yes, that's me." Velma said very nervously
"I know, but, there's a symposium coming up on the syntactical reasoning of the criminal brain." Patrick added
"I have always found a criminal's inclination to incorrectly use the interrogative pronoun in place of the relative.....delightfully absurd." Velma stated
Meanwhile, Yang and Ruby were at the buffet table
"So who's idea was it to make an exhibit about Roman?" Yang asks.
"Surprisingly, Shaggy and Scooby." Ruby answered
All of a sudden, the lights go out and the window over a few violin players break. At this, Velma, Fred, Daphne, and Team RWBY meet up in the middle
"What's happening?!?!?" Velma asks.
Daphne hears strange noises from the exhibit for The Pterodactyl Ghost and walks over and prepares to yank the curtains open. When she does, instead of a costume, there is a real actual Pterodactyl Ghost in the exhibit. It roars getting everyone's attention.
"Oh boy." Daphne says
The ghost then breaks the glass on the exhibit and Blake runs over and gets Daphne out of the way just in time to avoid the broken glass.The ghost then takes off flying while people are running around to escape the monster
"We need to come up with a plan!" Fred says.
"Like,hiding is our plan! In case you haven't noticed, there's an un-identified freaky object in here!!" Shaggy says as him and Scooby were behind the exhibit for The Creeper
The Pterodactyl Ghost randomly swooped down and grabbed Ruby along with The Black Knight Ghost costume. After a while, the ghost drops Ruby and Fred, Daphne, Weiss, Yang, and Blake wrap a curtain around it and Shaggy and Scooby tie the rope around it or at least that's what they thought.
"We tied it!! Let go!" Shaggy cheered.
Everyone lets go of the curtain and the rope falls down making the curtain open revealing The Pterodactyl Ghost screeched and took off grabbing the rope. After a bit, Shaggy and Scooby noticed they were tied up at their wrists. They then get yanked and pulled along.
"We have to save Shaggy and Scooby!" Fred says
"As usual!" Velma responds as the three take off following the ghost
The cowardly duo then get pulled along the buffet table
"Fire!!" Scooby screams
Scooby and Shaggy then get pulled over the fire on metal bowls
"Mystery Incorporated!!!!" A male deep voice booms
Fred, Daphne, and Velma stopped and looked around and saw a figure with a metallic face like mask and a female with her face hidden in a hood which makes Blake's cat ears under her bow twitch
"This is only the first rung on the ladder to your demise!" The Evil Masked Figure taunts
Shaggy and Scooby then broke through exhibits as the ghost pulled them along. They hit the The Ghost Of Redbeard Exhibit with enough force to send the sword flying which Daphne catches it as Ruby pulls out Crescent Rose in scythe mode as The Evil Masked Figure laughs menichally
"And THIS TIME, you'll be the ones unmasked!! As the buffons you truly are!!!" The Evil Masked Figure booms as The Pterodactyl Ghost grabs the costume for The 10,000 Volt Ghost
Daphne and Ruby jump and cut the ropes Shaggy and Scooby were tied to sending them flying into the exhibits of Chickenstein and The Creeper. The Pterodactyl Ghost then flies out the window after grabbing the costume from the Roman Torchwick display with it's beak along with the costume for The 10,000 Volt Ghost and the two mysterious figures grab onto the cut ends of the rope and are carried off into the night as The Evil Masked Figure laughs menichally
