The Mystery Machine is driving around Coolsville with Fred, Daphne, and Yang in the front while Ruby tries to contact Blake and Weiss on the computer in the back of The Mystery Machine
"Come on, you two....answer..." Ruby said to herself
Just then, Weiss answered.
"Ruby, what is it?" Weiss asks
"Weiss, we need you and Blake to hurry up with your part of the investigation. We're most likely gonna need full power on this one." Ruby responds
"I hate to break it to you, Ruby, but me and Blake are kind of focused with where we are in our part of the case." Weiss responds
"Right. Any leads on who that hooded woman was that we saw on the museum's opening night?" Ruby asks
"Well, I do have one idea but Blake and I don't like who-" Weiss starts before Ruby cuts her off after hearing cop car sirens
"Sorry, Weiss, I have to go. Something came up." Ruby says hanging up.
They get out and look around at the damage on the museum.
"Oh my..." Yang says
"My museum." Patrick said as him, Yang, Ruby, and Velma headed up to the museum
"Any comments on the museum robbery?" Heather asks Fred
"Mystery Inc. is currently investigating the three stolen costumes." Fred responded
"No, the one that just happened. Where The Black Knight Ghost and Ghost of Roman Tortchwick showed up and stole the rest of the costumes." Heather clarifies
"The rest of the costumes??" Fred says sounding concerned
IN THE REMAINS OF THE MUSEUM
Inside the museum, Yang, Ruby, Patrick, and Velma burst inside and look around at the damage and see all the display maniquin skeletons for the costumes
OUTSIDE
"So what you're saying is that it's all downhill for Mystery Inc?" Heather asks some point into another interview.
"No, hey!! You're doing that thing again where you take everything I say out of context!! You're trying to make it look like I think Coolsville sucks!!" red said before realizing what he just said. "No, don't record that!!" Fred added as he went back into The Mystery Machine
INSIDE THE MUSEUM
"Patrick, this must be really hard for you..." Velma said
"Look, I need to find out what's going on." Patrick said
"I'll go with you-" Velma started
"No!! Just...I need to do this on my own.." Patrick said as he walked off.
Yang put her hand on Velma's shoulder as Velma unzipped the jacket she had on revealing she still had her turtleneck sweater on under it
The three walked back out and got into The Mystery Machine just as Fred slams his head on the wheel and Daphne gets out of The Mystery Machine and walks over to Heather Jasper-Howe.
"What's with the personal attacks??!?" Daphne snapped
"Look, i'm a huge fanit's just that my editor-" Heather started
"Who are you kidding?" Daphne interrupted.
"Who are you kidding?" Heather scoffs. "Don't think I don't know your games. What do you do for the gang, really? Fred's the leader, Velma's the smart one, Scooby's the mascot, Shaggy is the trap bait, all you are is just a pretty little face." Heather adds
"Why are you doing this?" Daphne asks
"Cause it's my job to unmask those who pretend to be who they're not." Heather answers
"To unmask those?? You sound like..." Daphne started
"Sound like who? Heather asked
"The Evil Masked Guy. But you know that. Cause just as i'm standing here, you know that I know who you are which is him who's a her which is you!" Daphne finished
"Now I see what you do for the gang.You're in charge of incoherent babbling." Heather said
"Mystery Incorporated!!" The Evil Masked Figure boomed from on top of the museum. "Once again, you have been proven useless before my power!! Because of you, soon Coolsville, will be mine!!" The Evil Masked Figure added as he vanished into the night.
"Damnit, the scoop of the night, gone! Can't you do anything right??"Heather snapped
"I guess not..." Daphne says as she went and got backin The Mystery Machine
