Team RWBY in Scooby-Doo! 2: Monsters Unleashed

The News Report

While Heather Jasper-Howe was trying to possibly get a lead to the identity of either of the figures,Shaggy and Scooby were sitting at the base of the remains of the Chickenstein exhibit and the exhibit for The Creeper. Velma was investigating the exhibit where The Pterodactyl Ghost was and discovers the base had a secret hatch.

"A secret hatch. The real Pterodactyl Ghost must've come through here." Velma says as she grabs what looks like a scale. "A reptilian scale.A most wonderful clue." Velma further added

"It stole two costumes and one display of one of Team RWBY's foes. The Black Knight Ghost, The 10,000 Volt Ghost, and Roman Tortchwick. But why?" Fred says

"Fred, Daphne, can you answer a few questions for the press?" Heather asks

Fred goes to do that until Daphne stops him

"Fred, I don't think that's really a good idea. We've always faced the press after we've unmasked the creeps." Daphne whispered "We looked ridiculous back there." she added

"Don't worry, Sweetheart. The pres loves us." Fred replied

The two walk to answer questions but little do they know that they're reputation is about to get ruined.

LATER AT MYSTERY INC.'S HEADQUARTERS

Mystery Inc. and Ruby and Yang were watching the news report from last night.

"The higher the pedastol, the harder the fall. And Mystery Inc. fell far." Heather Jasper-Howe said on the news report. "In the embarrassing debacle that tarnished the reputation of the once great gang, two of the gang's key members Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers and Scoobert 'Scooby' Doo are seen causing un-told damage to Coolsville's hottest new tourist attraction which took a full two years to complete. When asked for comment, Fred Jones, leader of Mystery Incorporated, had this to say..." Heather added as the report played a clip of Fred saying, 'Little old Coolsville can solve it's problems without us.'

"I didn't say that!!" Fred snapped as Velma got up. "I mean, I did, but that's out of context!!!"Fred further said as Velma shut off the TV

"It's all my fault. I'm the one who let Shaggy and Scooby get the ropes." Velma said looking down as if it was her fault

"No Velma, it's my fault. I should have checked if the ropes were tied before I let go." Daphne replied getting up

"It's my fault, too. We all know how Shaggy and Scooby can be." Fred said getting up just as Ruby punched him in the side.

"You need to watch what you say, Fred. Shaggy and Scooby can literally hear this all. As if the report didn't already make them believe it was THEIR fault as to why you guys are taking the blame, what you said making me punch you would further engrave that highly false message into their brains." Ruby snapped walking off.

"While I don't really like how she went about telling you that, Fred, she has a point. Shaggy and Scooby are in the kitchen hiding behind the counter." Yang said as she walked off to follow Ruby who went outside for some fresh air

"Come on, gang, let's get to the lab. We'll figure a way out of this Jurrasic jumble." Velma said as her, Daphne, and Fred went to go to the lab.

"Raggy..." Scooby said resting his head on his friend's lap

"We're screw-ups..." Shaggy said

"Reah..." Scooby replied in a whimper

"I guess looking back, every time the gang made a plan, we did screw it up, somehow. I just never noticed it before." Shaggy added

"Rme neither." Scooby replied

Just then, Ruby and Yang came inside and heard Shaggy and Scooby but stayed silent

"There's gotta be a way that we can like, actually prove we belong in the gang." Shaggy said. "We've got to do something totally unlike us."Shaggy added

"Rhmmm...." Scoob hummed as he gently tapped his chin

"You know, Scoob, we could act like real detectives!" Shaggy says

That gets Scooby to laugh before he realizes Shaggy wasn't joking as the two get up as they hear Ruby  and Yang walk over

LATER IN THE LAB

In the lab, Fred, Daphne, and Velma were at a computer station in the lab as Shaggy came through the door. Shaggy was wearing different clothes but still kept the same color scheme as his usual clothes and Scooby was wearing one of Velma's spare sweaters and Daphne's go-go boots

"Like,it's time to kick this investigation up to an 11." Shaggy said

"What the heck are you guys doing?" Fred asks rather confused about their sudden change in behavior

"Well,we figured that the first step to solving a mystery would be to wear the right attire." Shaggy answers. "I'm sorry, Daph. Your go-go boots didn't fit..me" Shaggy adds as Scooby shows that he had hem on

"Scooby! Those so don't go with that sweater!" Daphne said

"I tried to tell him, Daph." Yang said as her and Ruby walked into the lab.

Suddenly, the computer beeped and a printer printed out a sheet which Shaggy grabbed and looked at but didn't know he had it upside down until Ruby corrected it and grabbed the paper.

"The test come back positive. That scale is real." Ruby said

"I'll bet anything on the fact that Masked Figure was out to humiliate us." Fred said

"Maybe it's someone you guys unmasked." Yang said

"But who would be able to make a real Pterodactyl Ghost?" Velma asked as the group walked over to a criminal database computer

"The original Pterodactyl Ghost. Dr. Johnathan Jacobo." Daphne answered

"That's right. Jacobo wreaked havoc with a state-wide crime spree. He stole millions of dollars which he used to finance his failed experiments trying to crate monsters." Velma said

"You think Jacobo's behind this?" Ruby asks cause this case happened to be one that her and Yang but without Blake and Weiss helped with

"Impossible. Three years ago, Jacobo died attempting a prison escape. His body was lost at sea." Velma answered

"Well how about this, Jacobo's cellmate was released from prison three months ago." Daphne said pulling up info on Jeremiah Wickles

"Jeremiah Wickles." Velma said

"The Black Knight Ghost. That's one of the costumes that was stolen!" Fred said

"What do you think about this whole situation, Scooby-Doo?" Shaggy asked his canine friend

"Bunny." Scooby said as he showed off his sketchpad drawing of a cartoon bunny

Ruby was amazed at how well Scooby drew the cartoon bunny
