Marceline took a deep breath and sighed into her palms, she had to go talk to her. Bonnie had been running through her head all through the past week and she didn't understand why. Was it her bubblegum pink hair which seemed to fit so perfectly on her head? Her beautiful curves which arched just right to suit her complexion? Or even her face, with eyes which glimmered under the starlight and a smile that could make even the darkest nights brighter-
"ARGHHH" Marceline grunted flopping onto her bed.
"Dammit Bonnibel. Why are you so darn beautiful" she said aloud. A blush spreading across her face after noticing what she had just said. Wait what? Did she- Like her? No. No- They were just friends. Well best friends actually and Bonnie was strictly into guys. She was beginning to get lost in her thoughts as her screen lit up next to her. Marcys heart skipped a beat as she saw bonnies name appear.
"Stop thinking like that" she mumbled to herself before checking her phone.Bon Bon: Hey Marcy!
Marceline replied almost immediately. Slightly regretting seeming so desperate.
Marcy: Wassup Bonnie :)
Marceline stared at her phone as the grey dots from Bonnies side of the screen flashed then disappeared and reappeared again.
"Type faster will ya" she said to herself.Bon Bon: I have some free time from my CEO business and I was wondering if you wanted to hang.
Marcy: Yeh sure! I wuz just gonna practice some bass anyways so I'm free. I'll be over in 15.
Bon Bon: Awesome, see you soon❤️
"Always so formal" Marcy chuckled staring at the comma trying hard to ignore the big red heart which Bonnie had placed at the end of the text.
"ARGHHHHH" she shouted. Throwing her phone onto the bed and getting changed from her sweats.[15min later]
Marcy had thrown on some dark blue jeans and a grey tank and was now outside Bubblegums house.MARCELINES POV
I walked to Bonnies house which happened to be a street down from mine- and braced myself to avoid revealing any interesting feelings which I had towards her. Wait what?! No- What was I even thinking. I had none. Bonnie was just a really really, reallyyyyy good friend. I told myself
I entered through her giant gate and knocked on the door.
It wasn't long before I heard a "cominggg" as the door creaked open."Hello Bonnibel" I started as I stared at the cute pink dress she was wearing. I would never wear it but it fit on her perfectly.
"Hey Marcy" she replied. Pulling me into a tight embrace- Catching me wayyy off guard my face heated up but I lightly returned the hug and continued to walk in to avoid eye contact.
"Sooo. What do you want to do?" She asked from behind.
I turned
"Just us, in your hugeeee house, with tons of free time? ~I can think of a few things we could do together~" I said smugly with a seductive tone as a dark blush filled her cheeks."MARCELINE!! That's too distasteful!" She said. Her blush slightly diminishing as she stared to the ground.
I knew she didn't like me in that way- Well she was into guys- But I loved flirting with her cause her reactions were adorable. She was so cute flustered. "Dammit Marcy stop thinking like that" I snapped at my thoughts.I came back to reality noticing that we had been standing there for a while.
"Um, you got any games?" I asked staring to her.
"Games..." she mumbled
"Oh yes!! Of course I do" She said rolling her eyes and hitting herself on her forehead. We settled on playing some good ol uno sitting side by side on bonnies bed.
