16. The Flash Drive

"SHUT UP PHONE!!!" I yelled to the annoying ringing noise coming from my phone. I rubbed my eyes to adjust to the light only to notice the God that was laying beside me sleeping.

"Shit" I whisper yelled. I grabbed the phone and ran to my bathroom.

"Good morning uncle."
"Morning niece you ok?"
"Yeah am doing great, you?"
"Yeah. Was just wondering, do you have that thumb drive that I gave you like a really long time ago?"

"Uhhm yeah I think so not sure where it is though."
"Ok niece look I need you to find it it's really really very important ok 
FIND IT!!"

Just then Xander walked into the bathroom and stood behind me. He kissed me on my neck.

"Ok uncle I'll find it."
BEEP.

"Morning Angel. How did you sleep?"
"Great but am really freaking out right now."
"Stair at my body then and feel better."
"Babe I wish I could but this is bad really really bad. And I need you to help me find it."

"Ok what is it?"
"Its a thumbdrive. My uncle gave it to me and told me to keep it safe he told me to put it somewhere safe and not to give anyone. Its blue and has the letter A on it."
"Ok I think we can find this small thing in this ginormous house." He laced his words with sarcasm.

We looked all over the house but couldn't find it. I knew my uncle and u would be in trouble because of this and I couldn't begin to imagine the information that was on it. I never opened it, I didn't want to know what was on there but now I wish I have looked......you know what I'm glad I didn't.

We were looking for almost 3 hours and no drive.

"Hey babe I'm really hungry and I know you are too, so u go call your uncle and update him and I'll go make some breakfast ok." Xander said and kissed me on the forehead.

"No I'll do it I can call him later you rest ."
"No princess you've been taking care of me all this time so let me do it ok babe."

I shook my head yes and let him do it I know he would be as tired as me but he insisted...right.

I called my uncle and told him that I couldn't find it and let's just say he was NOT happy. AT ALL. I looked around some more and that's when I found it plugged into the TV.

"I FOUND IT!" I yelled from the living room. I ran to the kitchen and held it in the air. I immediately called my uncle to tell him the good news. He was so happy.

"Uncle I found the drive."

"Great niece I just got off the phone with APG. They said that they were going to kill all of us if we didn't find it."

"WHAT! Whats on that drive?"

"Dirt....on APG.....the whole gang is on it every body that joined everybody that died, their purpose in the gang, their families, everything I can think of honestly."

"So....they want it."

"That's right they want to destroy it but I won't let them."

"But uncle they'll kill you if you refuse. I can't lose you."
I started to cry at just the thought, Xander left the stove to comfort me.

"I have a plan don't worry I'll be fine."

Just meet me with the drive at 5:30,they need it at 6 ok."

"Ok just be safe ok."

BEEP

"Hey I'm not letting you go on your own, it's just too dangerous baby." Xander cried.
