A Few Weeks Later

Gwen's POV
As weeks went by Duncan and I were becoming even closer than before, but instead of being happy that I was getting closer to him I was just confused, as I didn't know what our relationship was. You could say talking, but Duncan's....well he's Duncan and constantly flirts with other girls and doesn't show any signs of liking me. I've also heard rumors that he still has feelings for his ex. Not to sound like a girly girly there, but it's starting to make me mad and very confused.

It was a Friday night and I was walking out of school. I have said or texted anything Duncan in days and he either hasn't noticed or doesn't care. Once I got home I sat on my bed and just stared at the ceiling. I sighed and rolled over, while looking at my two lizards. The door opened and I looked over.

"Hey I'm going on a dinner date with Bridgette. I'm pretty sure you're home alone with your....pets." He said.

"I don't care." I said putting a pillow over my head.

"Someone's in a mood...but okay, go be depressed." He said and walked out of my room.

I sighed and just stared at my wall.

Later That Night

Duncan's POV
I was in my room trying to figure out why Gwen's been avoiding ever since our last kiss. I don't know what I did, I got my phone taken away so it's been hard to text her. We don't have any class together so I can't talk to her that way, and she always ignores me in the hallways. I looked at the time 8:26 P.M. and got up. I'm gonna sneak out and go to her house and talk to her.

I started opening my window and climbed down the side of the house. I ran out of my backyard and down towards the Russo's. I don't know why I'm doing to myself...it's just a girl, but that's not how I feel when I'm around Gwen. I continued to run down the street to get to her house. I saw lights shine on me and I looked back. It was my mother's car.

"Fuck...." I said to myself and then continued to run.

I got to the end of a block and she cut me off. I sighed and looked at me. She gave me a look and I looked at her, as she subtly told me to get into the car.

"Mom the girl I like has been ignoring me for two weeks and a half...I have to see her." I said and she didn't seem to car.

"Get in the car." She said and I groaned.

I started going into her car and sat down. She kept driving straight away from our house and I looked over at her, and she looked forward.

Gwen's POV
I was peacefully sitting under my covers petting my two lizards, staring at nothing. When there was a banging at my window that scared the shit out of me. I fell out of my bed and looked over as Duncan was looking at me from my window. I picked up Angus and Viola, and walked over to the window. I opened it and then Duncan looked at me and I stared at him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked and he looked at me.

"You've been ignoring me....for the past weeks and I'm here to ask why." Duncan said climbing into my room and I stared at him.

"Ever heard of a fucking cellphone?" I asked and he looked at me, as he sat down on my bed.

"My mom took it...have you been texting me or something?" He asked and I sighed.

I guess I was wrong about him ignoring my texts as he didn't even have his phone. I looked at him and he crossed his arms. He looked at me and then noticed my face.
