7 - News

"We're here," Kaiden took a deep breath and looked at Kacy, who was still looking down at her feet.
"I - I—Where do I live, Kaiden..?" Kacy breathed.
"I don't know. Come, I'll take you to my father. Perhaps he knows," Kaiden pulled Kacy along with him.

"You'll be living with Abe and Rhymorn temporarily..." Daniel smiled at Kacy, who was shuffling her feet, clearly nervous. "I'm glad you made this decision, Kacy. We all are. And we won't make you regret it."
"I hope you won't," Kacy managed.
     "Well, in that case. Why don't you follow me? I'll bring you to Abe's. He has clothes for you there after you take a bath," Daniel managed.
"Um, thanks..." her voice drifted off.
"Dad, let me bring her there, don't you have your work to do?" Kaiden offered, suddenly hooking arms with Kacy.
"You have a point. Fine, but take care of her, if anything happens——I don't know how I'm going to talk to the council," Daniel narrowed his eyes to Kaiden, who was beaming.
"Let's go," Kaiden looked down at Kacy with his gorgeous eyes and she blushed.

"School suicide tears! Really! That's the——whatever, human stuff I don't understand," Kaiden rolled his eyes.
Abe had hacked the news system of Earth—how, Kacy did not know.
And there were news of her.
"Read it out," Abe told Kaiden, sighing.
     "Today, at four minutes past seven o'clock in the evening, a suicide letter was found written by a girl named Kacy Zyleth who was assumed to be the suicide victim. Her body is not found, until now. She wrote a letter to her family, saying she was sorry and that she couldn't meet up to their expectations, or couldn't make them happy. Her mother stays in tears for a long while, and only stops about two hours later. Her father, who was at work when he heard the news rushed home. But due to speeding, he was involved in a car accident and was sent to the hospital by an ambulance that was called later on. His condition will get better, but now many specialists are handling him. Mrs Zyleth was more devastated after hearing about her husband. She had almost lost her two and only family members. She said to the news reporters, 'We should be given our respect and privacy. This is not right, our family has never been or enjoyed to be exposed and spread news to the public. There should be something they can do about this!' She clearly wasn't happy, but there was nothing they could do, and many people send Kacy her regards. Her best friend for a long time, Julian, said that she normally contacted Kacy when they did their school work together with FaceTime, but that her calls were not answered, and she got very worried. She had also tried reaching her in every possible way, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat.... nothing worked. She wanted to tell her parents but they were at work, as usual. And her brother was hanging out with his friends out for dinner, and she did not want to disturb them. Julian said to the news, 'It's absolutely devastating! I know Kacy! She couldn't have, she's an innocent, caring and kind girl. Everyone loves her—whether boys from our class, our teachers, schoolmates, and everyone else! I don't believe it. She has to be somewhere, somewhere around where no one would expect her to be——based on her intelligence and IQ. She has a very high one, for your information.' The people who know her have created a private Instagram account for Kacy, and whoever knows her and has pictures of them together with her can post it there whenever they like, frequently maybe, so they'll never forget her, and hope she will never forget them too. We are still investigating the possibilities of where the girl's body could be, and we hope we can at least find it, much less find it alive. No one is said to have witnessed her leaving the house. It was like she had disappeared out of thin air. From what her best friend said that she believed Kacy was still alive and would never do such a thing, we never know. But we promise we will come again with more results," Kaiden explained, soon out of breath.
Kacy couldn't believe it. Her own suicide announcement. And she felt so bad for Julian... who would she have to talk to now?
"Hang on, why didn't you receive your friend's calls?" Kaiden asked her, frowning.
"It must be the signal here. I can't reach anybody—That's good though, right?" Kacy asked.
"I suppose it is," Kaiden said, shrugging.
Then, Abe grabbed the phone from Kacy's hand which was trembling, squeezed her hand tight and threw the phone out the window, causing it to break.
"What did you just! Abe!" Kacy punched him in the stomach. She didn't care if he was her grandfather.
"Doing you a favor. That way you won't want to reach out to them," Abe smiled at her and slowly removed her hand from his stomach.
