Reader's POV
Starting tomorrow, I am now a university student. I'm so excited, I will make my dreams come true.
'Yosh! You can do it Y/N believe in yourself' I told myself. As I was walking, I bumped into a person
"I'm sorry" she said
"No, it's all my fault, I'm sorry" I said as I helped her with her things
"Thank you for helping me" she said
"Your welcome" I replied then I saw a pile of manga on her bag
"Do you like manga?" she looked away and replied in a quite voice
"Yes I like manga"
"That's great! What do you think of the latest volume of (insert manga name)? For me it's kind of sad because the author killed my best girl. I wonder why most authors always kills my best girl. Speaking of best girls, did you know that (insert female manga character) is great? I'm so excited for the next volume. Hopefully there will be no cliffhangers because I kinda hate it when I'm reading the best part then it's incomplete."
"I'm sorry I got carried away. By the way my name is L/N Y/N" I added
"I'm Watanabe Mayu, nice to meet you L/N-san" she said
"Nice to meet you too! Anyway, do you wanna hang-out?" I asked
"Sure" she replied
We went to a cafe near the train station. I ordered choco slices of cake for us while she is searching for a seat. A few minutes had passed, our order arrived.
"Itadakimasu" we said unison then we began to eat
We talked about anime and stuffs as we were eating. I noticed that she is a timid person but when it comes to manga, she became a different person. When we are done eating, it is already nighttime.
"Time flies so quickly" I commented
"Yes"
"Since it is getting late, I'll walk you home"
"You don't have to"
"It's fine I insist" I said as she sighed defeatedly
She told me her address as we are walking. I felt that I knew where that address is because it is familiar to me. I shrugged it off then I noticed something.
"This is my house" she declared
"Eh?!!"
"What is it L/N-san?"
"Your house is next to mine"
"What?!!" this time it is her turn to be surprised
"Yes it is true. I just moved in earlier"
"I see"
"I need to be early for my university so good night Watanabe-san"
"Good night L/N-san" she replied then we went to our respective houses
