Two Weeks Later
Leigh-Anne
I almost faint at what the doctor had just told us.
Jade's pregnant... with my kid. I was told when I was 18 that it's a rare chance that I could bare children, but it wasn't impossible.
I try to focus on the screen that shows a very small fetus wiggling a bit in her womb. Her hand was tight in mine, feeling a little clammy due to nerves.
"That's our baby," she whispers brokenly, voice thick with tears. She looks up at me, a smile trying to appear on her face, but her lip was trembling too much.
"Jade, are you okay?" I ask dumbly, but to my surprise, she nods with a giggle. "I'm more than okay. I'm so happy," she brings my hand to her lips and pecks my knuckles, getting a little wetness on them.
"You are?" She nods, more tears streaming down her beautiful face. The closer I look at her, the more I notice the subtle glow her skin radiates. "Sooner than I wished, but I regret nothing," she admits, wiping her face with my hoodie sleeve that I let her borrow.
The doctor turns off the monitor then helps Jade in cleaning the gel stuff off of her stomach.
When we left, we got into a taxi and the driver takes us to Jesy and I's shared home. I keep my hand on her stomach the entire time, a goofy smile on my face.
God, I already can't wait until you're here, baby.

"So, it's official? You guys are having a baby?" Jesy asked while we were rehearsing for out tour. I nod at her, worry lacing my eyebrows, "How can we hide this for the duration of the tour, though? She's pretty small, so it'll be noticeable."We both glance in Jade's direction, watching as she does the moves in a cautious way. "I've been doing a little reading," Jesy says, making me turn to her.
"Since Jade's a new mum, she'd start showing somewhere between 12 to 16 weeks. Do you know how far along she is?"
"A month maybe?" I shrug and the older girl nods thoughtfully. "I'd give her another two or three months before it's noticeable," I grimace a bit. "Then what? We start tour next week," she puffs her cheeks out.
Our choreographer tells us to take a break, then I watch as he goes over to Jade, who had a distressed expression.
"She's off her game today, he's just helping her out," Jesy assures me, tugging on my arm to the far end of the dance studio.
"Then we can work something out with the costume fitting," she says as if it were normal. I look at her with a shocked look. "Jessica, that means they'd have to know about the... pregnancy," I lower my voice to avoid listening ears.
She looks around obviously, "We can just say the biscuits and all the shit she eats is catching up."
"Yeah?" I cross my arms over my chest. She nods, "It'll work. Trust me." I give her a stale look, "Last time you said that, I ended up shitfaced in Dublin and woke up feeling as if I'd die."
"But you had a good time the night before, didn't cha?"
"Yeah, but-,"
"A'right then. Shut up," she fans me off and I threaten to punch her. "But what if it doesn't work? Then what?"
Jesy puts a hand on my shoulder comfortingly, "Relax, Leigh-Leigh. Like I said to Jade when she told me, you guys aren't alone in this. You got Perrie and me. We're gonna be there every step of the way."
She smiles which causes me to return, "Even when she finally gives birth?" Jesy's eyes widen, "Em, again, I've been reading and I'd much rather not witness my little Jadey be a she-devil for a few hours."
