Befriending the broken girl

I hadn't seen Jordan after he had asked me to be his friend I had started to walk home after school had let out I listened to the music blaring through my headphones I hummed to the song I heard a honk but continued to walk to my house but I heard someone honk again I pulled one of my earbuds out and saw Jordan and a few of his friends pull up next to me
" hey Olivia" mike said peeking his head out the car 
"Hop in I'll give you a ride home" Jordan looked at me and smiled
"I'm fine with walking" Ezra probably wouldn't like someone dropping me off I start to walk again I feel a rain drop on my face and continue to walk after a bit it gets a little stronger Jordan gets out of the car and tell me that I should get in the car and he'll drive me home so that I would t be in the rain I say I'm fine but he ends up winning in the end we get to my house and I see Ezra's car in the driveway he comes outside and glares at me I look down at my hands and get out of the car and start to walk towards him
"Why the hell are you getting a ride with those boys?" He yells as I get closer Jordan hasn't yet drove off and I get Ezra to go back inside I hear Jordan car start up and he leaves I go inside not ready for whatever Ezra is going to say "why were you with those boys" he stares at me like I did something wrong
"It was raining and he offered me a ride it won't happen again Ezra"I look up at him and he shakes his head
"I'm going out I want dinner to be done when I get back" he grabs his jacket and keys,time to play the guessing game and guess when he's gonna be back I think to myself I start to get everything ready for dinner after about 10 minutes I hear a knock on the door I knit my eyebrows together and grab a bat from beside the door I look out the door and see...Jordan what the hell I slightly open the door for him
"Hi" I say shyly I smell something burning I quickly run to the kitchen I see that I forgot to turn off the burner I quickly grab the pan and put it in the sink I put my head in my hands god I'm so stupid I shake my head and feel a hand on my arm I quickly stand up straight and look at him "I'm sorry" I quickly start cooking again trying to get everything done before Ezra got home
"Do you need help" I quickly try and make everything Jordan starts helping without me saying anything we finish and I feel a weight lifted off of my shoulders I hear car door and me and Jordan look at each other I quickly tell him to go in my room I set the table and put Ezra's plate down for him he grabs a beer and starts to eat he raises an eyebrow at me
"Eat don't just stand there" I quickly grab a plate and put food on it and I start to eat slowly taking quick glances at Ezra he finishes and grabs another beer and sits in front of the Tv I quickly wash the dishes and head to my room
