Ch.5: It All Starts With Death

???? POV

So this competition is to get this girl and kids? All cause of some deal they made with a woman? Couldn't they have just gotten her like how we usually kidnap people? I can't believe then enders turned it into a competition! And they say we're childish! I was in class with jeff but he decided to be flirty with the target. Offender told us that the proxies were on slenders team, jane, sally and lj were on Splendors team and trenders team is unknown. Anyways hoodie seemed to be protective of the girl Oh? Well no surprise there, we did see her kiss toby so they must be dating. Then hoodie and jeff stopped talking to each other and i scoffed. 'I have a plan to get the girl now!' I thought and smirked. What a day for a plan and toby is the perfect weakness.....

After school- cuz i can. •{}•

Toby walked me out of school and then tim came and third wheeled.
"Noooo! Begone!" Toby complained
I giggled and tim just snickered. Brian was with us and he was just looking around and he looked angry.
"You alright brian?" I asked
He looked at me and smiled.
"Yeah just paranoid." He said," but its fine."
He shrugged and i smiled.
Toby walked me all the way to my car and he kissed my cheek when we got to it.
"I love you." I said happily
"I love you more." He replied
"I love you even more." I replied back.
"Ugh my god! Lets go home already!" Tim complained
Tim pulled toby away and dragged him away.
"Bye guys, I'll see ya tomorrow." I laughed
"See ya later princess." Brian said
"Bye Y/N." Tim replied
"BYE! I LOVE YOU." Toby shouted
"I LOVE YOU TOO TOBY." I shouted back
They were far now and i chuckled. I got in my car and started it. Now to head off and pick up my lovely siblings....

A Few Minutes Later

I got to the school and i see sal and alice talking to a little girl and she looked hurt. I got out and went to them worried.
"Hey guys! Who's this? Are you okay? Do you need help? I have a med kit and i can help you?" I asked worried
"See! The best sister ever!" Alice giggled
"Im fine, i was just jumping around then tripped." The girl said
"Well i should still check just in case." I said
"Im sally by the way." She greeted
"Im Y/N!" I greeted back
I helped her up and check if she was okay. She just had a few bruises on her knees and elbows but she was fine.
"Okay you seem fine besides the bruises, but at least your okay." I smiled
She giggled and sal and alice smiled.
"Sally who are you with?" A girl asked.
I look to see a girl probably my age and i smiled.
"Hi, I'm Y/N! And don't worry, my little angels were just with sally and i saw she was hurt and decided to check." I introduced and explained
"Awe your so sweet!" The girl said happily," im jane."
"Its nice to meet you jane." I chuckled
"Im alice! Jane can sally come over to our place one day and play!!" Alice asked
"Yeah can i sis!" Sally giggled
"Awe your sisters!" I awed
"Yeah, there's never a dull moment with this little cutie!" Jane chuckled
"Same with these two." I replied
"Well we have to head home cause papa was worried about you and wants to know how you day was." Jane said to me then sally.
"Okay, but can we have a play date?!" Sally replied
"Yes you can." Jane chuckled
I giggled and looked at sal and alice.
"You guys ready to head home?" I asked
"Was dad home?" Sal asked
"No and im glad he hasn't been home." I replied softly then mumbled," that man deserves some karma."
"Your dad hasn't been home and your not worried?" Jane asked confused
I turned to her and chuckled nervously.
"Um? It's complicated....our dad doesn't love us...." i said and looked at sal and alice.
I grabbed janes wrist and took her further away from the little ones.
"Our dad abuses us really and he just hates us. He only lives with us just to feed off the hardworking money my mom makes." I whispered to her
Her face had rage and sadness all in one.
"That's horrible! How are you so happy or this helpful?!" She asked," you should be angry or-or..."
i sighed and let go if her wrist.
"Im not anything bad because i had one priority that I realized when i was smaller." I replied
She looked at me confused and I smiled.
"I had to protect and raise sal and alice right. Make sure they aren't anything like me." I said
She looked at me with sympathy and i sighed. She then hugged me and i stiffened a bit. I hugged her back and smiled. We let go and she smiled at me.
"Well i hope he isn't home today then." Jane said
"I do too." I replied
We left back to the little ones and sal and alice went to the car. I made sure they had their seat belts on and they said bye to jane and sally. I waved at jane an sally and smiled. They waved at us and i got in the drivers seat and headed off home.
"Sally said we would have a playdate on Saturday! And tomorrow's Friday!" Alice cheered
"Why don't you guys plan for it and when the day comes I'll bake you all cookies." I said happily
They both gasped and cheered.
"You haven't made your cookies is so long!!!" Sal complained
"Make lots and lots and lots of em!" Alice cheered
Even if they're 12 an 10 they still have the energy of a 4 year old. I giggled and told them i would make as many as they wanted but only for that day. They continued to cheer and giggle and i just smiled. Then when we got home i saw a police car outside the house parked on the sidewalk. I pulled up in the driveway and locked the car.
"Guys wait, there's police here and i think dad did something." I said cautious.
"What about mom?" Sal asked
I gasped and unlocked my door. I got out and ran in the house. A police officer was pinning down my father to the ground and cuffing him. Another officer was on the radio, calling for an ambulance. I ran to that one and froze.
"Mom!" I said panicked
"Your the oldest daughter right." The one holding my father asked
"Y-yeah! What happened." I asked
"Well first off i need you to calm down. Second, your father came home and attacked your mother for calling the cops and so now we're taking him in for assault and potential abuse. Where are the little ones?" He explained an asked
"I told them to wait in the car cause i saw the police car out front." I said calm
"Good decision. I wouldn't want them to see their mother in this state." The one who was on the radio said
I look at my mom and then heard the ambulance. I was taken outside and sal an alice came out the car.
"No no no guys! Don't go inside." I said worried
"Whats wrong?" Sal asked
"Um nothing, but mom said we can go out for ice cream while they clear up here so lets go!" I lied
They got back in the car and i got in the drivers seat. The ambulance people got out and ran quickly into the house. I pulled out of the driveway and left not wanting sal and alice to see mom hurt. But I couldn't even handle it myself. I felt tears in my eyes and alice asked if i was okay.
"Yeah im fine, just didn't expect to see dad home." I replied back and smiled.
They frowned and we got to the ice cream shop. I parked and sal an alice got off. I grabbed my back pack and took out my wallet. I got off the car and walked behind the two as they giggled and smiled. We entered and i bought them what ever ice cream they wanted. I got myself a small slushy and we sat a table and ate. Sal and alice planned for Saturday and i just smiled at them. I drank my slushy and my heart felt heavy. Seeing my own mother on the floor with a small pool of blood next to her is enough to make any child cry. I sighed and looked at the happy kids that i now am counted responsible for. I was always held responsible for them so i was completely fine with raising them from now on. Then there was knocking on the window and i look to see toby, tim and brian. I gasped and my eyes teared up. I got up and ran out side to them.
"Are you okay-"
I hugged toby before he could finish and cried. He hugged me back and tim growled.
"What happened!" Tim asked
"My mom she.....my dad attacked her....." i said not able to speak.
They helped me calm down and me an toby let go of each other. I explained what happened and Toby looked angry and I didn't like that.
"Your dad just attacked her?! Thats just- grrr!" Tim growled
"I just couldn't handle seeing her there on the floor like that and i-i....i brought my little brother and sister here so they wouldn't see what i saw. I wanted them to be happy before they heard anything." I explained
Brian put his hand on my head and smiled.
"If ya need a place to stay we can always give you the spare rooms in our house." Brian said
I smiled felt better.
"That sounds nice but i don't wanna embarrass you guys! Plus i still have to take responsibility for my siblings and i will do as much as i can for them if my mom.....doesn't..make it...." i explained then frowned.
Tim pushed brians hand off me and put his hands on my shoulder.
"She's gonna make it and if she doesn't then we're always here for you! Especially this dumb dumb, but you get what i mean." Tim said softly
I smiled and hugged him.
"Thanks guys." I replied happily
Tim hugged me back and he chuckled.
"No problem." Tim replied
I smiled and let go of him. I cleaned my face and then there was a small knock at the window and saw alice an sal looking at me sad and worried. I gasped and rushed back in with them.
"Im so sorry guys!!" I said as i saw them tearing up.
"Why were you crying?? Are you okay??" Alice cried
I picked her up and cradled her, feeling the guilt hit me.
"Im so so so sorry!" I said with regret
Toby, tim and brian came in after and sal only knew one of them.
"Tim what happened!" Sal asked him
"U-um..?" Tim said as he looked to me for an answer.
I shook my head and he nodded.
"Nothing, you sister just hasn't seen me at school and was worried." Tim lied
"Y/N!" Alice and sal complained
"Im sorry!" I laughed
That was clever but embarrassing for me. They all laughed and i smiled.
"Fuck you tim." I complained
"What?" He teased
I smiled and looked at my siblings. They were done eating they're ice creams and so i told them to go to the car. They ran off and brian went with then to make sure they were okay.
"Hey guys, If im not at school tomorrow tell the girls im okay and just taking care of my siblings. And you guys don't have to worry about me either!" I said
They nodded and we headed off outside.
"So brian, if i had a kitty this big and this small would you still wanna keep them?" Alice exclaimed
Brian chuckled and smiled.
"A cat is a cat! I'd still wanna keep it!" He teased
Alice smiled and looked at us.
"Y/N brian has to come to our playdate!!" Alice ordered
"Can tim come too!" Sal asked
"O-oof!" Toby chuckled
"Before i say yes, guys this is toby!" I said as i held tobys hand," my boyfriend."
Alice an sal were dead silent and i got worried. They both got out the car and examined toby. Sal made our hands separate and they pushed toby away from me. I giggled as toby looked a little frightened.
"Your my big sissy's boyfriend huh? Well if you hurt her, you gonna answer to me!" Sal said, flexing his muscles.
"Do you like F/C? What about movies, what movies do you like? If you had to babysit me an sal had what would you do? Are you a playboy? You look a little odd an nervous?" Alice interrogated
"T-thats cau-cause y-you guys g-g-got thre-threatening rea-l quic-quick." Toby replied
"Okay you two, knock it off! You know I wouldn't date anyone unless I actually trusted them!" I said as I intervened
"I like your siblings, can i keep them?" Brain asked
I giggled and brian laughed.
Toby then hid behind me as sal kept making a 'Im Watching You' face toward him.
"Sal." I called
"Okay okay, I'll stop!" Sal complained
I smiled at them and toby then wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I like your family." He said softly
I smiled more and put my hands on his arms.
"I like-"
"So imma just ruin y'alls moment and do this." Tim said and picked up sal.
He brought sal to tobys eye level and sal flexed his muscles.
"Tim!" Toby complained
I laughed and time smiled.
"Jealous." Alice an brian coughed
Brian looked at alice and was shocked.
"Y/N im seriously going to keep your siblings!" Brian said kneeling to alice an giving her a fist bump.
"Im not jealous!" Tim growled
"Yeah tim can't be jealous cause he knew Y/N longer!" Sal said supporting tim.
Tim then looked at sal then me.
"Y/N I'm keeping your siblings." Tim said
I laughed even more and slowly calmed down.
"Okay you goof balls, how about we bunk with you guys for today!" I asked
"Yes." They all said in unison
I smiled and kissed tobys cheek and he then buried his head in the nook of my neck embarrassed.
"Okay maybe i might like flustering you two." Alice said mischievous
"Im not gonna make my cookies then-"
"No no no! Sis no! I love your cookies, don't take them away!" She begged
"Okay I won't." I teased
Alice an sal giggled and toby let me go.
"Okay everyone get in my car an I'll drive us to..?" I trailed off, wondering where they're house was.
"I call shotgun and also show you directions." Tim said quick
"I call dibs then!" Toby said without stuttering or ticking.
They both raced to the passengers but Tim git there first and got in. I shook my head and everyone seated themselves in the car. I opened the thing in the middle in between the drivers an passengers seat and alice came an sat up front. We all buckled up and i started to head off to they're house. Masky told me where to go and alice started to fall asleep, leaning on me. I smiled and tried not to move to keep her in her sweet dreams....

Tim/ Masky POV

As she drove to where i told her, I felt a small sense of joy. Like if we were married with our kids in the car, an i was telling her were the new house was. I blocked those thoughts from my head and just shook off the feeling. I didn't know what was happening to me but I do know it all involves Y/N. I then took a small glance at her and she had a smile on her face as alice was asleep on her. Y/N just looked so....beautiful? My chest then had a beating sensation and i out my hand on my chest, feeling it. I looked out the window and it started to go away? I took a glance at Y/N and it came back. I grumbled quietly at myself and was confused on what was happening?
"Babe sal fell asleep." Toby whispered
I felt angry? Well im usually mad at toby for something he did but he didn't do anything?
"Okay, when we get to your place can you stay here with them so i can ask for permission by your dad or something if i can stay?" She whispered
'Why is it when her attention is on him im angry? They're just talking?' I thought confused.
"Are ya jealous?" Hoodie whispered to me.
My eyes widened and i growled at him.
"Yes!" I whispered
I then realized what i said and answered quick.
"Wait no! Im not! I was thinking of something that was a yes answer!" I whisper growled
He hummed, not believing me and i growled quietly. I rolled my eyes and gained a giggle from Y/N.
"Tim are you okay?" She asked quietly
For some reason everything seemed to have gotten better. I turned to her an her eyes were on the road as we reached the house.
"Yeah....everything's great..." I said softly as i smiled.
She smiled as she parked in the driveway and turned off her car. She then seemed nervous and we all noticed.
"You okay?" Toby asked
"Well I'm kinda scared to meet-"
Slender man came out of the house and looked at us.

'Whats going on?' Slender asked in my head.

'Her mom was attacked by her father and she has no where else to go cause her house is a crime scene. Can she stay?' I thought as Y/N made alice lean on the seat belt so she can still sleep.

'Yes she can stay. It's actually an advantage.' He said.

I was confused and looked at him. 'Why is it an advantage?' I asked. He didn't replied and i kinda glared at him. Something wasn't right about this and I didn't trust having her here now....
