I grabbed a piece of bread as I ran out of the house and I saw fellow students making their way to school. I stopped when I saw someone so crammed about the books he carried. At first I hesitate but I gave up and asked id I could help him. He handed me couple of books Whoa! they're really heavy. He thanked me and asked if I'm also studying in Bantam University I answered yes and I slightly regret helping this guy his face doesn't fit his personality. He had green deep set eyes, hazel brown hair and almost tan complexion, tall height(I think he's about 6 ft. tall) and a body built for a football player. Yeah... I guess he's kind of handsome. He kind of looked like those male supermodels I saw on commercials but I have no interest in him beside he's very loud, totally not my type. I have to listen to every word he said while we're walking. He said that his is new in school and he will be coming senior this year. Well we're in the same year. I guess every girl in school will chase this guy, I just hope that we're aren't in the same class cause I really don't like to be bothered besides judging from my surroundings every girl we passed by was stunned by his presence.
"Hey! are you listening?" He cried
"W-What?" startled by the sudden change of tone. I guess I was too distracted in my train of thought that I didn't kept track of what he was saying.
"I said that I haven't introduce myself yet. So... my name is Sky Hales, I'm 16 and I like cats." He said
"Oh! I'm sorry. Well umm..." not sure of what to say since I'm not used to socializing and the hell if he like cats this dude is really weird.
I kept my head down hiding my face with my bangs when suddenly he touched my chin and lift it up.
"Well what's your name?" he asked still holding my chin.
My eyes widened and I almost panicked. I grabbed his hand, held it in mid air and looked down.
"I'm Elaina Meriville" I blurted out quickly still holding his hand. I looked up and saw his shocked expression. Then I realized that I'm gripping his wrist too tight and I let go of it quickly and saw the grip marks on his wrist. "Oh! I'm sorry I'm just not used to being touched"
"I'm sorry I didn't know that" he said
"I guess I should be going now" I said as I returned his books since we already reached the school. Besides I don't like the attention that we are making.I was about to run off when he got hold of my hand.
"Wait! did I offend you? I'm very sorry I didn't mean to" he said sincerely " by the way you can call me sky if you want ti. Can I call you Laine? it suits you well and it sounds much beautiful on you" he said
"Uhm... Okay then. Can I go now? I said blushing by the sudden compliment as this is the first time that someone compliments me.
"Just one more question" Sky said
"What?"
"Can you tell me where the teachers office is?"
"It's right there by the corner, well then that will be all" I took his hand off and hurried to my room too tensed to look back as I'm being too paranoid to think that everyone's looking at me right now I just hoped that something like that would never happen again . I'm contented just to be with myself and don't like anyone to invade my privacy.
