Recap:

Adelram smiled weakly. "I'll make sure nothing to bad will happen to you." He pointed his wand towards her.
Lyra quickly responded by pointed her hand towards him. "Stupefy." She felt the magic from through her arm as she used to spell.
But then something weird happened.
There was a huge bang as their spells collided. Something that seemed like golden flames erupted at the spot where the spells had met.
His red jet met her own spell.

Present:

Lyra was lost for words. Many weird and confusing things have happened that day. But that was nothing in comparison to what was happening now.

A jet of spells met in midair and suddenly Lyra's hand started vibrating as though an electric charge were surging through it and a narrow beam of light connected her hand and his wand, it wasn't red if their spells, but bright, deep gold. Lyra looked at the beam with an astonished gaze.

Then she felt her feet leave the ground. She looked down and saw that she was floating in the air. Looking over at Adelram, she saw that the same was happening to him.
Still connected by the golden beam, they were both floating in the air.

Their spells seemed connected to each other. The spot where the spells had connected each other seemed to come closer towards Lyra. She knew, that she didn't want to know what would happen if it met her.

Lyra started panicking. She didn't know what to do.
She looked up from the spells into Adelram's eyes and saw him staring at her in wonder.
She quickly looked back at the spot where the spells were connected and she noticed that it really was coming closer towards her.

But then a feeling came from within her. She closed her eyes and started focussing on it. It calmed her down. The feeling came more present and she felt it moving throughout her body.
She knew what it was, it was her magic.
She started focussing it towards her hand and she felt it moving through her body.

She opened her eyes and she saw that the spot where the beams were connected started moving away from her towards Adelram.
She looked up into his eyes. She expected panic in his eyes, but surprisingly he was looking very calm.

Lyra kept focussing her magic towards her hand. It was getting closer to him.
Just a little bit more, she thought.

When it reached him he got shot backwards and landed on the ground, stunned.  The beam disappeared.
Lyra fell down to the ground, her legs couldn't keep her standing anymore. She was exhausted, she didn't have any energy left.

She suddenly felt a hand on her back and looked up at the person who did it, Emory.
"Are you okay?" She looked horrible. She was covered in blood and filth, it surprised Lyra that she was still standing.
Lyra slowly nodded and looked around her. She saw Marcus standing a few feet away.
He was tying up the wizards and witches. That they apparently succeeded in winning the fight against them.

Lyra started thinking about what happened. She was confused about what she just did. It has been a crazy day, a lot is not making sense anymore.
Maybe it all has just been a dream... She thought to herself. But she quickly changed her mind. It all seemed to real to be just a dream. The people dressed in robes, the river, Malinda...
Oh no, Malinda!?

Lyra quickly looked around for Malinda. She was lying close by. Lyra started crawling towards her, with the energy she has got left. Which was basically already zero.

When she got there, she noticed that Emory followed her. Emory crouched down and put her hand on Malidna's neck. To probably feel for a heartbeat. After a few seconds so put her hand away.
"She's still alive, but her heartbeat is very weak." She pulled out her wand.
"I already tried using Episkey, but very little happened." Lyra told Emory.
