The Next Day Point of View of Carly,  Head Nurse of the  Silver Night Pack

"We are gathered here today to say our goodbyes to Aeris Nicole Consaga, daughter of John, and Jenifer Consaga, the firstborn of the Alpha line of the Silver Night Pack. She was brought into this world to lead, all of which an Alpha would have been." 

He paused for a moment, trying to hold back his fake tears, "when I first glimpsed at Aeris, I knew she was going to change the pack by being the first female Alpha, and that I couldn't wait to see happen. Above all that, I knew she was distinct for great things, but this cruel world had to take her away from us."

He looked up at the sky and said, "to our past Alphas and Lunas, as you look down upon us with Aeris in your arms, please, take care of our little angle for us."

As light shined from above us, I looked up to see the moon shining brighter than usual. I looked back at Jenifer to see her in John's arms. She looked away from the moon to nod her head yes. As she walked up to the stand in front of the mic, she tried to hold back her tears.

She let out a soft sigh and looked at us, "she was gone too soon. I can still hear her cry ringing in my ear. It was one of the most beautiful cries you will ever hear. One day, you guys will understand what I meant when you have your firstborn child.'

"I would have never seen this happening to have your child be gone so soon. There's so much the world could have taught you, what we could have taught you, and to create memories that could have had last a lifetime. Those are what I had looked forward to doing with you, Aeris."

She paused for a minute, "as you look down upon us, know your pack, family, and parents love you so much, my Aeris."

She backed away to look at John to see him holding a blimp. Together, they lit the blimp, and they took a step forward while John said, "every year on this day, this blimp will stand for the love we have for our daughter. May the winds carry our love to her."

They lift their arms and let the blimp go. People held up their candles as the blimp got higher into the sky and further away. After the ceremony was over, I went home to bring Aeris to her new home. She was going to my uncle, Congaress. He was head of training the new warriors of King Richard and Queen Ophelia of the Shining Star Kingdom. She will be trained to be one of the warriors and live a normal life away from this pack.

I grabbed her in my arms and pulled my cloak over my head. I held her closer to my chest and opened up a mortal to walk into a forest. When I got to my uncles, I made sure I wasn't followed or seen. I used my magic to unlock the door to walk into a dark house. As I shut the door, I heard footsteps. I walked into the living room and stood beside the fireplace.

"Carly?"

As I looked behind me while the lights turned on, I saw my uncle standing in the entranceway, and behind him stood my aunt, Susie, and my cousin, Charlie, standing on the staircase.

"Mommie," said my little cousin, Pentyon, "who's there?"

"Susie, take the kids back to their rooms."

She nodded her head yes and said, "come on, Charlie, let's leave your cousin and your dad alone."

"I want to stay."
