As I woke up the next day, my eyes went big because I had overslept morning training. I got up as fast as possible and ran downstairs to be stopped by Carter.
"Sorry, but the practice has been canceled due the trainers are in a meeting and will resume tomorrow."
Something about him was off; his scent was different. Carter usually smells like a chocolate and a hint of mint. Everything has been off since yesterday. Trinity never had a light practice because she was always hard on us. Another significant factor was when one of us fails, she makes us all pay the price, but she didn't last night. It was like she was taking it easy on us.
Carter was on a mission, and he wasn't supposed to be back until next week. Now, he shows up out of know where. There was something off about today, and I will find out why.
"Okay," I slowly walked towards the couch while saying, "what am I supposed to do?"
"You could watch T.V."
"T.V.," I questioned.
"Don't tell me your dad never let you watch T.V."
"Never really had the chance to."
"How about Netflix."
I shook my head no, "we have it, but I don't watch it."
"Hulu," again I shook my head no, "you have to tell me you watch Disney +?"
"Yeah, only when I'm with the twins."
Speaking of the twins, where are they? They usually wake me up, either jumping on the bed or whatever a devious plan they had in their heads.
"Here's the remote while you watch a show. I'll start to cook."
"Okay, should I wake up the twins?"
"Nah, they said they're going to go play with Ben before they go to school."
"I'm going to go get ready for school."
"Alright, I'll have breakfast done before then."
I nodded my head yes and went to get ready. I would never have guessed that they were willing to go outside and play when they could sleep in later. Whenever we had a two-hour delay, we would sleep until time to go.

After I was done getting ready for school, I grabbed my book bag and car keys and started to make my way down to the kitchen. When I reached the kitchen, I would have thought my brothers were there, but they weren't.
