It was a quiet breakfast.

A father of two sons in a long table filled with food prepared by employees dressed in skirts and aprons.

Everyone was silent but the tension was deafening.

"How's everything with school?" Their father asked.

"It's great father. Have you seen my report card yet? I'm the top of our class." His step brother, Jinyoung boasted as he ate breakfast.

"That's good. Keep that up son." Their father nods.

"What about you?" He turned his head to Hyunjin who was actually shaking.

"I'm doing fine as well." He just replied.

"I heard you were involved in a fight recently. Is that why you came home with bleeding lip the other day?"

Hyunjin wasn't responding.

"If you're going to fight, atleast do it without anyone knowing about it. Without tarnishing my reputation, our family's reputation."

Hyunjin scoffed, knowing his father wasn't actually worried about his son's bleeding lip but was instead worried about himself and his image.

"It's disappointing that I have to hear about this through my secretary but.." The old man sighs and cuts his steak.

"I'm really not surprised. You're just like your mother. A disgrace." He scowls.

"Good thing she's now out of the family." His father added, and that's where Hyunjin lost it.

He stood up, his chair making a sound and the utensils banging the table were heard.

"Don't disrespect my mother like that." He grits his teeth as he glared at his father.

"You know you should be asking for forgiveness now, right?"

"You've done enough trouble for me."

"Leave my house." His father orders.

Hyunjin bald his fists and walked out of the dining room, going back to his room and immediately packing his stuff, ready to leave.

Carrying his bag, Hyunjin left the house he never really felt safe that everyone would call 'home'.

It was lonely and full of despair, and now he was finally brave enough to actually leave.

He didn't looked back even once, he continued his way out of the gates and onto the busy streets of the town.

With his luggage bag, he wandered off, looking for a place to stay. Possibly looking for a job too because the money in his piggy won't get last that long.

It's already sundown and he hadn't ate anything other than a cheap piece of sandwhich he bought. He didn't found any place to sleep, and as well as a job.

In the back of his mind, he was thinking about if he goes back to that damned house. He didn't expect it to be this hard, and it's been only for a day.

His tummy starts grumbling and he just sighed.

"What was I thinking? I can't go back there." He mumbles to himself.

He swings himself back and forth in the swings of the playground at a park. He's been walking since the morning and his legs are burning to be honest.

He's so tired, he could sleep then and there.

Raising the hood of his jacket over his head, partially covering his face, and then dozing off on the swings.

It was so uncomfortable, he'd wake up again whenever his head falls. He would just try resting his head on the metal chains holding the swing up.

"you look stupid, you know that?"

That voice.

Hyunjin's senses awakens.

He looks up, meeting the familiar eyes of a puppyfied human named 'Seungmin'.

The younger looks back down at him with blank expression.

"What the hell are you doing here by yourse-"

Seungmin couldn't continue his sentence when Hyunjin stood up and grabbed his wrist to pull him closer and feel the warmth of his tight hug.

As they hugged so many times before, this was the first time he felt Hyunjin's desperation in his hold. As if he was a little child in his arms.

Especially when he started sniffling and started grabbing Seungmin's shirt.

Having no idea what to do or how to comfort the other, Seungmin just wrapped his arms around Hyunjin as well and caressing his back while letting him cry in his arms.

After a few minutes, Hyunjin told the younger everything and now both of them are sitting calmly on the swing.

"Do you wanna live with me?" Seungmin's voice was soft, almost as quiet as a whisper.

Hyunjin turned his head to the younger and smiled.

"Do you want me to live with you?" He asked.

"I-I mean..." The younger stutters, rapidly blinking his eyes  and thinking about what to say.

Hyunjin chuckles.

"If you like that, then I shall." He replies.

"You're gonna pay me rent tho." Seungmin huffs, crossing his arms against his chest.

"You're not letting me live rent free?"

"You live in my mind rent free already." Seungmin replies, making Hyunjin chuckle.

"Oh so now, you're flirting?" Hyunjin asked.

"How can you be so cute, huh?" He added but Seungmin just glared at him, lips pouting slightly.

The younger stands up and stomps his feet as he walked away, secretly smiling as he looked at the ground.

"Seungmin-ah..." Hyunjin called but the younger kept walking away.

"Seungminnie..." The older called again but Seungmin kept stomping away, not even looking back.

"Baby..." He calls again, louder than before so Seungmin would hear it from the distance.

The younger stops and looks back with a glare.

"I said not to call me that!" He replied.

Hyunjin just chuckles.

"Get your ass here, idiot!" Seungmin said, making Hyunjin giggle more.

"Wait for me!" The older jogs to catch up to Seungmin, pulling his luggage with him.

Seungmin rolls his eyes and turns around again to continue walking.

"You better catch up or else I'm locking you out." Seungmin said, purposefully walking much faster.

Couldn't help but grin, he looked back how Hyunjin was keeping up.

When he saw how close the latter was, he started running.

"Hey! That's not fair!" Hyunjin exclaims while trying his best to fast up his pace, carrying his luggage.

Seungmin just laughs in evil.
