Chapter 8

Jade's POV

Jade is currently laying on her bed and can't sleep.

Ugh. Why can't I stop thinking about Tori? Her words, "maybe I do have a bit of feelings for you". Those words keep rerunning in my head. I've never felt this way about anyone before. I'm still feeling some excitement from those words. So I texted my best friend, Cat. Even though she isn't the brightest, but she can still be helpful at times.

Jade's texting conversation with Cat

Jade: Hey Cat, are you still awake?

Cat: Yeah, why?

Jade: I need to ask you something but you can't tell anyone, especially Tori.

Cat: What is it?

Jade: How do you know when you truly like someone?

Cat: Well how do you feel when your around that person?

Jade: Excitement most of the time.

Cat: Do you enjoy being around them?

Jade: Yes.

Cat: Well I think it's clear then that you like this person.

Cat: Is this person Tori?

Cat: You can tell me, I promise I won't tell anyone and that I'll support you no matter what.

Jade: Yes, it is Tori.

The same night after Tori got home from her date with Jade. She went straight to her bedroom and sat on her bed thinking.

Tori's POV
Did I make the right choice by telling Jade I have some feelings for her?

Someone knocks on the door

"Who is it?"

"It's me."

"Come in."

"What is it Trina?"

"How did tonight go?"

"Wait how do you-"

"I heard it all. While you and Jade and discussing about your date the other night I went to get a drink and heard everything."

"Well I told her I might have a bit of feelings for her."

"And how did she react?"

"She just seemed shock then we were interrupted by these 2 guys and we never talked about it again after."

"Do you really like her?"

"Yes."

"Well I think you should try to become closer to Jade first then confess all the feelings you have for her. I think there's a chance she likes you back."

"How do you know?"

"I saw you two kissing also. She kissed you first. Obviously that means something."

"Yeah I guess. But how do I find out whether she likes me back or not?"

"Maybe try to hang out with her more. She'll probably show more signs if she really does like you back. And get into deeper topics with her, that way she'll know she can trust you."

"Ok, thanks Trina."

"Just doing what an older sister would. It hurts me to see you upset."
