"perfection"- a kairi and mattia story

chapter 1- babygirl

everything about him is so perfect.
oh god. stop doing this mattia.
wait fuck im staring again.

As Mattia snaps back into reality he notices Kairi still peacefully asleep. He should really stop doing this to himself. No matter how often he tried to tell or even attempt to show Kairi how he felt, it never seemed like the right moment, but then again when would the moment ever be right. Mattia had a million scenarios planned out in his head and most of didn't end so great. The positive ones however kept his hopes up of a future between the two of them.

fuck. i need to distract myself man.

He gets up and decides to change and get ready for the day. Having spent the night so many times Mattia had his own drawer in Kairis dresser and a space in the families toothbrush holder. It made him feel nice that he was so welcome here that it even felt like a second family. He decided to take a shower to take his mind off things and it seemed to work, he came out relaxed and ready to start the day. He noticed that Kairi had woken up and was sitting on his bed scrolling through tik tok. He started walking over to the dresser with just a towel around his waist to pick out his outfit for the day.

"Turn around pervert, im going to change", Mattia says with a smile on his face.

Kairi just simply groans and rolls over face down onto the bed. Mattia laughs at that and starts to change, he feels like he's being watched but just chooses to ignore the feeling passing it off as being paranoid. Though when he turns back around he finds Kairi back in his original position. Mattia didn't think much of it seeing Kairi was still on his phone. Before he started overthinking though his thoughts were cut off by an all too familiar voice.

"You look cute today" Kairi says in a joking manner.

"Don't I always?" Mattia says with a playful smirk growing on his face. Little did Kairi know what thoughts his daily compliments caused him to go through.

"Gay" Kairi says laughing slightly.

"For you and you only baby girl" Mattia says jumping onto the bed

"Oh wow i'm lucky" Kairi says playing along and moving closer towards Mattia

Mattia runs his hand through Kairis hair and whispers "Mhmm" into his ear.

He then grabs Kairis jaw and looks into his eyes and suddenly forgets the game and starts to slowly lean in.

"W-woah chill dude" Kairi says more than surprised at what was just about to happen if he hadn't moved.

fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.
keep calm just play it off.

"Are you hungry, weshouldgogetsomethingtoeat, dont you think"  Mattia says way to quickly.

"What" Kairi says still in shock

"Lets go eat" Mattia says a bit slower and hes calming down and seemingly passing the worry over to Kairi

"Y-yeah lets do that let me just change" Kairi says going into the bathroom with his clothes

"I'll wait in the kitchen" Mattia says as he gets up and starts walking out of the room that was full with complete and utter awkwardness. He hoped he would hear Kairis soft voice call him back but all there was, was a deafening silence. He walked out quietly closing the door behind him.

why do you always do this.
you ruin everything.

Back in the bathroom all Kairi could think about was, why/what. What would have happened if he wouldn't have pulled away? Why him? Why now? Why?
No matter how many questions he asked himself he couldn't think of one answer and the more he thought about it the more he felt a feeling build up in his stomach. A good, but strange feeling. He decided to stop asking himself these things and just ask Mattia. He got changed and went down to the kitchen where he found Mattia peacefully eating cereal, seemingly over the incident that had just happened a few minutes ago.

act calm.
if you're calm he might not bring it up.

"Hey so about what happened..." Kairi says as he reaches over to get a bowl from himself.

so much for that plan.
what now?

"Yeah?" Mattia says getting up to help Kairi reach the bowl from the shelf. "What about it" he says still trying to be calm as he get behind Kairi not noticing that he had aligned his member exactly over Kairis ass.

However Kairi definitely noticed as their sweatpants felt like the only thing between the two. A sudden confidence came over Kairi and he decided to tip toe and grab the plate from Mattias hand creating friction between the two.  This definitely got Mattias attention and before Kairi could do the same thing coming back down he moved to the side.

woah.

"Sorry" Kairi said playing it off as a casual accident. He sits in the chair next to Mattia and starts eating his bowl of cereal waiting for Mattia to come sit back down. He decides that he should just let the topic go but he still couldn't help but wonder what could've happened.
