I ran out to the beach just wearing a black Tee and a pair of shorts. I stopped running and hold my knees panting. I stood back up and saw Jiyoo playing with Jina in the sea water. I took a step near and the light waves hits my feet. Jiyoo who saw me, came to me and pulled me far from the water area.

"You can't go into the water. I don't want your wounds to get wet" she said while looking at me.

"Then what's the point of this trip if I can't play with the sea water?" I pout.

"You can play with something else. Besides your wounds are not fully treated yet. If they got infected I'll get worried" she muttered while glancing away.

I can spot her flushed cheeks. It makes me smile so bad. I pulled her hand that's holding mine and engulfed her into a hug. I bury my face in her neck.

"I will not touch the water. But you have to play with me or just keep me company. Please Jiyoo" I whispered to her.

She hums as a reply.

Jiyoo

Everywhere he's going, he never forget to grab my hand and drag me along. Not that I hate it... I like it so much. Everytime I'd see him smilling so bright and being like a little child. It melts my heart.

Right now, we're sitting on the damp sand, not caring about it sticking on our clothes or skin, and just let the sun kiss our skin.

Suddenly I got startled by my phone's ringtone. I stood up and left Chenle for awhile.

"Hello"

"Jiyoo yaa"

I took a glance at him. He grin and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Why are you calling me?"

"Because you're being too quiet"

"I'm hanging up lele yaa~"

"Wait!"

I pulled the phone away from my ear because he shouted. I looked at him who's standing up and walking towards the water. I wanted to run and pull him away.

"Wait there" he said. I obeyed.

I see him taking a random stick burried in the sand and drew something on the sand.

"Come here Jiyoo... I have something to tell you" he said.

I went to him while looking at the sand. Suddenly he threw the stick and it landed infront of me.

"Jiyoo... Hear this carefully"

I nod while looking into his eyes.

"You remember the story I told you yesterday right? I know you do. I want to tell you that the lucky girl is you. Jiyoo I like you. Please give me a chance to love you" he said through the phone.

My heart skipped a beat. He took a few step closer to me.

"So what do you say?" He stared into my eyes.

His sweet baby-like expressions all gone. Just a serious and deep stare.

I took two step closer to him. I pull my phone away from my earlobe and looked at the screen. I hang up on the call and placed my phone on the sand, not caring the sand that will stick on its back. I took a few step towards him.

"Why didn't you say so earlier?" I asked.

"I- uh"

I quickly wrap my arms around him and looked up at his face.

"Let's learn to love each other Mr. Zhong"

Hearing me say that made his eyes gleaming with tears. He suddenly hugged me back while burying his face in the crook of my neck. I hug him tighter, loving the warmth of the hug.

"Yeah... I'll learn to love you. But you have to wait a little longer" I muttered.

"I'll wait for you. Just take all the time you need. I'll be patient" He said.

The sound of the waves crashing the beach. The breeze and the view. With us just standing there hugging each other as if our live depends on it. The warmth and even the scent. With the heart that Chenle drew on the sand.

It's perfect

"Complete my heart. Complete me Jiyoo" he looked deep into my eyes again.

"Yeah... I will"
