WARNING: Vomit/Throwing up is included in this chapter.
It was cold. Why was he so cold?
Norman felt the hard surface below him. He must of been on his floor. Norman slowly opens one eye, looking at his surroundings.
"Ngh..."
Norman opens the other eye and slowly sits up, holding his head. But he found himself rushing to the restroom, feeling a burning pain in the back of his throat. It hurt a bit.
Norman had thrown up everything inside him. He felt it rush out of his throat. All the wine, his dinner and breakfast. They were all below him in the toilet, though he missed the toilet a little bit. It was all over his clothes, on the clean white floor.
Norman was used to it though. He usually found himself being sick, anyways. This was nothing new. He just drank a little bit too much.
Norman sat there for a bit, well maybe longer. But he grabs a towel, cleaning up his mess. Cause if he didn't it would start to smell horrendously. After he was done he stood up, slowly making his way to the kitchen.
His eyes instinctively went to a familiar picture that used to bring him joy. But the picture made him feel like throwing up all over again. The picture showed himself, Emma, and Ray performing together. He remembers that night. It was one of the biggest shows they have held and one of the most successful ones.
Norman let the picture sink in. But he wasn't looking at himself. He was looking at them. Only them. Then his eyes shot open. He remembers what happened last night.
Why he drank so much.
Why he passed out.
Why he threw up.
Norman grabs the edge of the countertop and sank to his knees. He held his hand in a fist.
Why was he so stupid? For sure nothing can fix what happened that night. Of course, it was Norman's fault of what happened last night. Maybe if he didn't leave and was so selfish; this wouldn't be happening right now. It was his fault he lost his friends, and what he loved to do; his career.
Norman didn't know how to feel. What would he do now? Sleep forever? Run away? Pretend nothing happened?
How was he supposed to feel okay?
Would anyone help him now? He is a hopeless boy after all.
Norman's mind was running with thoughts. But then, it clicked.
He needed to do what's best for them. He needs to now. He will have no more regrets.
