Before I start I'd like to clear something up, Strelitzia has her red look from episode 15 because it looks awesome and it made no sense for it to return to the white colour in the anime.

*Y/N POV*

"The growth process was a complete success, there were no genetic defects detected in the initial scan." I heard a feminine voice say.

"Excellent, continue to monitor. And when the time is right, execute..."

I quickly sat up from my bed, my heart was beating rapidly and my forehead was moist with sweat, my breathing was erratic as I tried to make sense of what I just heard.

"Was I remembering my birth? But if I am then how is that possible?"

I felt a hand on my bare chest which calmed my breathing, then when I looked over I saw an unexpected person sitting on the edge of my bed with a damp cloth in hand.

"What are you doing here?"

She placed the damp cloth on my forehead and I can't deny that the coolness of it wasn't refreshing.

"You were moving erratically in your slumber, I am simply here to calm you." She explained to me.

"And you hand is on my chest because?"

A devious smirk grew on her face, as she pulled the cloth away from my forehead.

"Because your muscles look well toned, yet not bulky, it suits your physique." She told me with a smirk.

I grabbed her wrist and pushed it away from me as I swung my legs over the side of my bed and grabbed the shirt that had been left for me.

"Stop trying to force yourself on me, I am not your Prince and you are not my Princess."

"But Doctor Franxx said that..."

"Franxx is not in charge of how I live my life! My reason for living is to protect my family, and you are not part of my family!"

That seemed to get it through to her, she stood on the opposite side of my bed and held the cloth to her chest as I saw tears begin to form in her eyes. I took a deep breath and calmed my voice.

"I will always be grateful that you have allowed us shelter here but do not mistake my gratefulness for an invitation to force yourself upon me."

She moved her arms to her sides as she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath.

"I am not forcing myself upon you, but if you wish for me to stop caring for you then I will. Also if you are wondering where YOUR family is then they are in MY throne room." She told me, venom dripping from her voice.

I nodded my head and began to walk down the hall towards the throne room where everyone was waiting.

"I know she means well but I can't have any distractions, my full focus needs to be on winning this war."

I exited the hallway and Goro noticed me and waved me over.

"Took you long enough to get up, we've been waiting for about half an hour."

"Sorry."

"It's no problem Y/N, you've been pushing yourself so much since we escaped from APE that we all thought you needed the extra rest." She said with a smile.
