Chapter 57

(Katsuki's POV)

They were broadcasting the conference the Mr. Aizawa, Mr. Vlad king, and Principle Nezu had to take part of. It was kind of sad to watch because UA is in total chaos and now people are turning against to hero society.
Hand face dude: "Isn't that strange? The heroes are becoming the bad guys. Seems like they're not dealing with this very well at all. So much criticism. But everyone makes a mistake or two, right? It's not like they're supposed to be perfect. Modern-day heroes sure have it rough. Don't you think, Bakugo?"
Random lizard dude: "Once a hero receives payment to protect people, they aren't a real hero anymore. That's what stains actions taught us."
Hand dude: "A hero in this current system only cares about money and glory. And since society buys in to those idiotic rules, anyone deemed a loser is shoved aside. So we want to pose some questions. What is a hero? What is justice? Is this society truly fair? Soon, everyone will be asking. That's when we'll know we've won. And you like winning. Don't you?-- Dabi let him go."
"Oh hoho! Not yet. Don't release him yet!" Some guy with a mask and top hat said popping of a corner.

(Compress's POV)

"Everyone come here real fast." They all got up and started following me into a room, far away from that boy. "I think I caught a pretty big caught while exploring." I showed them the marable with the girl inside.
Dabi: "Holy shit."
Toga: "OOH! I have my best friend back!!"
Shigaraki: "Keep that away from the kid as much as possible. Good job." I hid the marable in my pants pocket.

(Katsuki's POV)

They all started walking back to the room. "So what was so important that you had to leave the room for?"
Hand dude: "Don't worry about that. Dabi, release him."
Raisin face: "He'll just fight."
Hand face: "Just let him out."
Raisin: "Twice you do it."
Twice: "Sure thing! No way."
Raisin: "Do it."
Twice: "Fine." He got up and unlocked all the locks hooked on me. I took a minute to stretch, than attacked.

(Mr.Aizawas POV)

Reporter: "You spoke about keeping the students safe, Eraser Head. But according to our information, you encouraged them to fight during the attack on the training camp, putting them in grave danger. What was your reasoning for this?"
Me: "I concluded that because we didn't know the full situation. Allowing them to use their Quirks would help avoid the worst possible outcome."
Same reporter: "And what would that outcome be? Do you think 27 victims and one kidnapped child is a win for UA high?"
Me: "I assure you that things could have gone much more poorly. I feared every student would be tortured and killed in the end."
Nezu: "Most of the victims were harmed by the gas attack. We've determined it to be the result of a poisonous Quirk used by one of the villains. It's thanks to the quick actions of Ms.Kendo and Mr.TetsuTetsu that injuries were kept to a bare minimum. Additionally, we're providing mental health counseling to every student, though at the moment, we do not see any signs of serious psychological trauma."
Reporter: "So you found a bright spot in this tragedy?"
Nezu: "We are relieved that an entire class of burgeoning heroes still has a future."
Reporter: "Can you say the same thing for the abducted, Katsuki Bakugo? He enrolled at your school with excellent marks, and went on to win the sports festival. Before that he survived the attack of a powerful sludge villain while he was trying to rescue another past abducted child at UA, (Y/n)(L/n) and thanks to All Might save them both. The boy is obviously strong and heroic. (L/n) could have easily turned against UA and she was probably the cause of the training camp attack. You don't know if she ganged up with the League of Villains and tried to kill everyone at UA. Isn't she dating Katsuki Bakugo too? She's probably seducing him for the villains sake."
Me: "If you think (L/n) and Bakugo would turn against us, you are surly mistaken. (L/n) is one if the most hard working kids in our class and I know for a fact that she would never betray any of her classmates and friends like that, ever."
