Phoenix's POV
I pushed the thought of that Aurora girl out of my head as suddenly everyone seemd to stand up and start heading out of the hall. "First years follow me!" was the shout I heard and as I looked around I spotted a red haired boy, who looked like he could be related to the boy Harry had been talking to. Speaking of, Harry seemed to have disappeared along with his new friend, though my brain hardly had time to register this as I was almost swept away my all the people surging towards the door. I jumped as I felt two hands grab me, one on each side and looked up to see two red haired twins with identical grins on their faces looking down at me. "Careful there!" one of them said with a wink as they led me over to where all the other first years were. "You missed one Perce" one of them joked as they let go of me, laughing as they recieved a glare from the prefect who was obviously their brother.
We stayed in a big huddle together, everyone trying to talk to me or Harry as we followed Percy up multiple flights of stairs. Everypne was chattering excitedly but I was to busy looking round at everything, especially the paintings. They were moving. I tore my gaze away from them as I heard a voice saying my name. "Phoe!" I heard and turned slightly to see Harry and his new friend now beside me. "This is Ron" he told me and I smiled at him. "I'm Phoenix" I replied to him, glad that he seemed to be treating us both like normal people unlike everyone else. We were jostled around a bit more and I almost walked into Harry's back as we suddenly came to a stop. "This is the entrance to the Gryffindor common room" Percy called to us as he said the password and we followed him inside.
Looking around the common room I knew I was home. It was a cosy, round room full of squash armchairs. We were directed to out dorms and I looked around quickly, hoping to spot Harry but not seeing him anywhere. I spotted the red headed boy and quickly walked over to him. "Erm, Ron, right?" I asked nervously as he turned and nodded. "Do you know where Harry went?" we both asked each other at the same time with the result being that both of us just shook our heads. Great, first night here and he had already wandered off somewhere. "I'm sure he'll be back soon" Ron reassured me when he saw the worried look on my face. "Thanks Ron" I smiled before turning to follow the other girls up to the dorm. "Night" he called after me and I turned slightly to see him heading off in the opposite direction.
I climbed the stairs to the dorm, stifling a yawn as I entered the cosy room. I looked round, seeing the five beds, three of which were occupied by other first year girls all chattering excitedly. Spotting my trunk at the end of one of the empty beds, I wandered over and sat down, looking round the room again, my eyes resting on the other empty bed. Who was missing? I looked over at the other three girls again. Of cousrse, that girl, what was her name....Aurora! Yes, she was missing, obviously still raging after she stormed out of the great hall. I got up and stretched as I wandered over to one of the windows and sat down, admiring the view that looked out over the lake. We all jumped as another person entered the room, all of us assuming it was a teacher coming to tell us off for not being in bed, it was 10pm after all. I looked round to spot Aurora coming into the room and falling asleep as soon as she fell onto her bed. Well. That was odd, I wonder where she was for the past couple of hours? I suppose I'll just have to ask her in the morning. I got up and yawned before climbing into mmy bed, too tired to get changed now. There were so many thoughts running through my head that I didn't think I would get to sleep but surprisingly, I drifted off almost as soon as my head hit the pillow.
