Jennie's eyes stopped moving the second she saw the id. It took her a while to process but when sh finished, she finally realised the identity of the person standing in front of her. No she wasn't ready yet, not ready to see her again. She felt it, she felt her blood stop flooding, she felt her heart stopped beating, she thought she heard a big buzz in her brain which she doesn't knows why but she knew she can't move her eyes anymore. She can't bear to take a look.

Her face froze. It was just in a few milliseconds but yes it froze. The next thing she did was immediately closing her eyes and laid back on the bed. Her hands were tightly gripped together under the blankets, she was forcing herself to tightly shut her eyes, the others saw that, but said nothing, not even Lisa who knows nothing.

After a few seconds of silence which seemed like forever, Taeyeon cleared her throat and said:

"Ms Kim, nice to meet you, I am Kim Taeyeon, the head of the Coronary Care Unit of this hospital"

"Nice to meet you Ms Kim, just call me Lisa, I'm currently Doctor Park's subordinate"

The rest of them waited, they waited for Jisoo to introduce herself, but she didn't.

Jisoo's eyes were fixed on Jennie's face the minute they stepped into the room. She saw it when Jennie's face froze as soon as she saw her id. She saw Jennie closed her eyes and fell back to the bed. She saw Jennie's eyes forcefully closed together. She even assumed her knuckles were turning white under the blanket.

Jisoo gotta admit, she wasn't very comfortable too. Which is why for that moment, she spaced out and said nothing.

After the awkward silence, Taeyeon cleared her throat and said:

"So if there's no questions, we shall start the scan now"

Jennie was pushed by Rosé to the scanning room, except for Nayeon, everybody followed. Jisoo walked behind, far behind. The only thing she saw was Jennie's back.

She didn't know why but her eyes were glued onto Jennie. It wasn't like she felt sparks or affection, but she just couldn't move her eyes away.

Rosé and Lisa helped Jennie up to the machine. While waiting for them to get ready, Taeyeon softly mumbled to Jisoo:

"Get yourself together"

"I am together"

"Stop staring"

"I am not"

"Good"

Rosé passed Jennie the earplugs then they started the scanning.

The room was only filled with the sounds of the machine working during the scan. Nobody spoke, well nobody had anything to say but still the silence was dead. Jisoo was behind the computer, checking the statistics and once in a while, she found her mind wandering off to another place.

'Why? What is wrong with you' she asked herself

Yet there was no answer in her heart.

Jennie's mind was buzzing since the very first second she realised Jisoo's there. She tried but she couldn't calm down. She knows her heart is racing like hell but no matter how many deep breathes she took, it didn't work out. Her hands were already having red marks from all the self gripping but she didn't care.

All she wanted is to wake up from this dreamlike reality.

It was finally then Lisa who spoke first. She saw the computer and one statistic was looking weird.
