The cave of Copper Bones and Cannonballs

I walked next to Mikey as we ventured deeper into the cave.

"Okay, Mouth hold this." Mikey instructed as he handed Mouth the map. "Translate this."

"Copper Bones...Westward foams..." Mouth mumbled to himself. "Triple stones..."

"Triple stones!" Mikey gasped as he quickly held up the weird key he found earlier. "This must be Copper Bones!"

The boys started to try and figure out what to do with the key and were looking around. I was beginning to grow quite fatigued and decided to just lean against the wall and close my eyes for a little bit. As I rested my head against the wall, dirt and moss started to move and pour out of the wall. I turned around and started to move the moss out of the way. Once all of it was gone, a stone like pattern on a wooden wheel was revealed, causing me to pull a face.

"Hey, guys?" I said, confused.

"Yeah?" They all spoke while walking towards me.

"What's this?" I asked as I pointed at the strange stone patterns.

"Wow! Look at that." Data gleamed, intrigued with my find.

"Triple stones!" Mikey yelled out as he held up the key.

"Triple stones! We found it! Maybe we can find a way out?" Data grinned as he looked at the wheel.

"Um, I actually found it." I told him.

"Oh yeah...sorry." He mumbled.

"Triple stones? What are you talking about?" I heard Mouth whisper to himself.

"We got you now, One Eyed Willy. We're comin' up right behind ya'." Mikey spoke, enthused while looking up above.

Mikey then tried putting the key in different places on the stones to see which one would match up. We all offered different patterns, all giving no avail.

"Wait, try the middle one." Data suggested.

"You guys are crazy." Mouth chuffed, causing me to roll my eyes.

Mikey placed the key on the combination Data suggested and it fit perfectly.

"It fits!" I cheered.

"We got it!" Mikey yelled with a wide smile.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Which way do we turn it?" Data asked.

"West?" Mikey questioned.

"West...counter clockwise." Data concluded. "Try it."

Mikey followed Data's instruction and the wheel then turned.

"Yes!" I whisper yelled while fist bumping the air.

However, we couldn't celebrate long as a loud clock like sound was heard causing all of us to look up as two wooden planks closed on Mikey's wrist, locking his hand into the wall.

"Aaah!" He screamed.

"Mikey!" I yelled, shocked at what had happened and instantly began tugging on his arm to try and get it free.

A rolling sound was then heard and we all watched as a heavy cannon ball began rolling down an elevated track that ran around the room.

"What the hell is that?!" Stef shouted, stunned by what was happening.

The cannon ball then passed over Stef, Brandon and Andi's heads and started to come towards us.

"Oh my god! It's gonna' fall on us or something!" Mouth shrieked as he quickly hurried away.

"It's another one of Willy's tricks. Get out of the way!" Mikey warned in a panicked tone.

"Mikey your wrist!" I cried out as I suddenly knew that the ball was going to do something to him and he would be involved in this booby trap.

"Just go! Just go!" He rushed out as time had ran out.

"What?" Data yelled before the floor beneath us disappeared.

I screamed at the sudden drop as I continued to fall through thin air while fearing for my life. I tried stopping myself but it was no use as I was going to fast. After what felt like forever, I felt myself get grabbed and my body jolted. It took me a few moments to realise that I wasn't dead and I was now dangling in the air with Data holding onto me while being attached to a string and a pair of false teeth.

As I collected myself, I could then hear the sobs coming from above us.

"Data!" Somebody cried out.

"Rain, oh my god."

"No, no, please don't be dead." Andi sobbed.

"Data, please!" Mikey begged.

"Rain, please be alive."

"They're gone...they're really truly gone."

I looked down below my feet to see long pointed stakes.

"Data, what?" I asked him, shaken up and confused.

"It's my Pinchers of Peril." He told me with a proud grin. "Pinchers of Peril! You guys, we've been saved by my Pinchers of Peril!" He yelled up into the opening.

"They're alive!" I heard them all shout.

"Is Rain okay?!" Mouth called, worry and stress intertwined through his voice.

I smirked. "No, she's dead on the floor. It's like a blood bath down here!"

I heard everyone laugh and cheer in thankfulness.

"That's not funny!" He barked.

"Oh Guys, we're in another room!" Data claimed.

I looked around us, still in slight shock but ultimately a lot calmer. "Woah."

Here's a shorter chapter :) since the others have been really long lmao, my bad! I didn't realise how much I needed to re-edit and add to.
