*Batman*

I was sitting in front of my computer screen, as I had been for hours now. I just couldn't leave it. I just had to crack this case.

 "Master Bruce! I advise you to leave the cave just for a refresher. You haven't had a meal all day." Alfred announced, coming to stand behind my chair.

 "Sorry, Alfred. I have to finish this case." I grunted, not looking at him.

 "It's about that Gale girl, is it not?" Alfred asked.

 "Yes. I have found most everything I wanted to know but there's just a piece missing. Like I have seen her before but where?" I stated.

 "What have you found so far?"

 "She's lived in captivity since the ripe old age of 2. She was captured along with her family by this Kitten lady. Kitten is dead now. Her parents have been dead since Gale was 4 and her older brother has been missing for 5 years. Her full name is Abigale Clarice Nighting, her parents were Horace and Dalla Nighting. The name of her brother is unknown." I listed the facts.

 "Father, still playing on your computer? I thought Batman didn't have time for free time." A young yet very posh voice spoke up. I knew right away who it was.

 "Damian, I'm not playing. I'm doing research. What are you doing here? Why aren't you with Jason and Tim?" I asked.

 "Todd is in a mood and Drake wanted to watch Hello Megan. Again, I'm left with no choice but to train with the punching bag." Damian stated with a faint pout.

 "Why don't you call up Dick and ask him to bring Gale over. I need to evaluate her, collect a blood sample as well. I want to complete this case before it's too late." I suggested.

 "Too late for what? That she may turn villain? That's impossible, she said it herself. She hated working for that Kitten lady." Damian said.

 "Nevertheless, who knows what Kitten did to her? She started working for that lady at a very young age and who knows what lies were put into that little head of hers?" I asked.

 "Whatever. I'll call Grayson right now." Damian shrugged and left.

*Robin*

 "Hey, Grayson! Father wants you to bring that girl over for an evaluation. He thinks that since she was held captive at a young age, she might turn evil." Damian called me.

 "Her name is Gale and tell him I'm on my way. But there's no possible way she could turn evil! She said when she was old enough to know good from bad, she hated stealing for Kitten, even more so after the death of her parents and the disappearance of her brother." I replied.

 "I told him that too! That man has too thick of a brain." Damian agreed with me.

Damian hung up as fast as he called.

 "Gale! Batman wants to see you." I called out to her. She looked up from her spot on the couch and put down her book.

 "Do you think he'll, you know, interrogate her?" BB asked. Nosy as usual.

 "If Batman wanted to see her, it would probably be to make sure she isn't going to turn evil on us. And on Robin." Raven muttered.

 "I'm ready. Let's get this over with." Gale said.

*The drive to Wayne Manor*

 "So do you have any idea why Bats would think you would go evil on us?" I asked.
