So let me get this straight, I didn't let Jarred into the house. I don't know how he got in, but I was just listening to music when I saw him creeping up behind me with the gun. I only had a little time to react, so I just ran at him, luckily he was to surprised to actually shoot me. When I tackled him, he was way stronger than me, so I was overpowered. He tied me to a chair with a rope. I feel so bad for Ian and his friends, I let them down. It didn't really help at all when I heard a gunshot and a scream of pain. Then they were all gone, Jarred, Ian, and Ian's two friends. I couldn't tell for sure if they were gone, but I had a sure feeling that they had. It broke me even more when the police came to my house and told me that Ian had died, I felt so responsible. None of this would have happened if I hadn't stopped Jarred when I had the chance to, I was to weak, to weak to stop a twelve year old kid. I give up, I failed.
