A story to remember

Part 1 Meena

Another restless night . No sleep. Turning over and over again. And it's all because of you. Because of you all my nights are restless. No matter how hard I try to forget you it doesn't work. No matter how much I climb I fall deeper into the pit . When will you finally be out of my mind ?

* alarm goes off*

"Ugh! Why do i even bother setting up an alarm anyways? Well let's start the day I guess"
I stand up and make my way over to the bathroom. A nice hot shower would be just the right thing.

* heavy knocks on the door *

"WHAT DO YOU WANT JAY?" I answer my annoying brother who is 13 year old.
" HURRY UP!" He shouts.
" JAY I JUST GOT IN THE SHOWER STOP ANNOYING ME OR I'LL TAKE YOUR PHONE AWAY" i clap back.
No knocks.

*sighs heavily*

Time for my shower! I turn on the hot water and as I'm about to step someone knocks on the door again.
"WHAT" i ask annoyed.
" Hey Meena I don't want to annoy you but I realllllyyyy need to pee and all of the other bathrooms are occupied." My 16 year old sister shay answers.
"Ugh alright." I say and open up the door. I let her pee real quick and let her out. And without any hesitation I jump into the shower. I forget everything immediately and instantly relax. But that feeling was short lived. Because as you all already have guess by now. There was another knock. I chose to ignore it this time.
I hear a soft voice saying my name.
" Meena breakfast is ready"
That was my lovely mom who I love so much.
" Yes mom I'll be out in a bit" and with that I turned the water off. I dried myself, wrapped a towel around me and went back to my room to choose my outfit for the day.
"What to wear? What to wear?" I ask myself.
I ended choosing a white shirt with grey ripped high waisted jeans and white vans to go with it. Time for my everyday makeup. I like it to keep things simple so just some eyeliner, mascara and brows. Then I head down stairs to find my family already sitting at the table. I go up to my parents give them a kiss and sit at my usual place which is right next to my 22 year old brother Jacob. He gives my a kiss on my forehead and says morning little one.
" You Know im turning 20 this year right ?" I ask him.
"Well you still are little to me" he says and smiles at me. My relationship with my older brother was actually really good. I could talk to him about anything. My relationship with shay was good too I guess. But you know 16 year olds always on their phone chatting and stuff. And my younger brother he's just straight up the devil in disguise. Well I guess that just because he's the youngest of us all and is a bit spoilt. Well that's my family. We eat breakfast together and then it's time to go to college. But first I need to drop off my siblings to Highschool.
I get my bag and get into my car.
" Is everyone buckled up ?" I ask my siblings
" yes ma'am!" They reply. I start driving.
" So Kids how's school going?" I ask them because I had nothing better to do.
" kids ? What are you like 30 or smth ?" Shay mocks me.
" oh come one! Now answer my question." I pressure.
" It's going fantastic thank you. But I have to say it's hard being the most popular girl in school and school president at the same time." She says dramatically. I roll my eyes.
" Kids these days omg." I say.
" What about you jay?" I ask.
" Fine" he says bluntly. I look in to the rear view mirror and see that he's playing games on his phone. Kids these days only wanna play on their phone gosh. My kids will get a phone when they are 15.  I drop them off and then proceed to drive to my college. Unlike my sister I'm not popular. But in college there is no such thing as being popular or not. But I am well known around my college if I do say so myself.
I park in my colleges parking lot and get out of my car. My friends Rose, Bella and Faith are already waiting for me.
" GURRRLL what took you so long ?" Faith asks me.
" You know dropping off mis hermanos. " i answer.
"Well let's go then we'll be late for class." Bella states. And without another word we go to our classes. I am majoring in business and finance. Actually all of us are. You see my parents own their own restaurant line. A mixture of Pakistani and Arabic food. Why Pakistani and Arabic you ask ? Well I am half Pakistani and half Arabic. That's why. And i am the air of our small business. My brother didn't want to take over their business. He instead want to be a psychologist. My parents supported him and now he's studying psychology. I wanted to own a business anyways so i didn't mind filling out Jacobs place. Well back to college. I'll spare you the boring details about class. It's break time.  Me and faith make over to our usual sitting spot to meet Bella and Rose there. I take a seat right next to Rose.
"Guys I need to tell you something." Faith says.
" Yeeesss?" Everyone cautiously replies.
" Okay but please don't be mad at me. Especially you Meena." Faith says nervously.
" Cut the crap and tell us what's up." Rose says.
" Well I kind of met up with Adam again." She replies.
"Excuse me what?" I ask with a sharp tone.
" Who's Adam ?" Rose asks. Bella looks confused as well. Did Faith not tell them about Adam?
"Oh come on you guys. Didn't I tell you about him?" She asks annoyed.
" Nahhh I don't remember you having a man!" Rose replies. Bella and me laugh at that statement.
" Ha ha aren't you funny today. What did you have for breakfast? A clown ?." Faith replies sarcastically.
" Anyways. Recap on the Adam sitch . I met Adam about 3 years ago when I first moved in to my house. I saw him on the bus stop and was captivated by his face immediately. I guess he noticed me too. Every time he would see me at the bus stop he'd come up to me and talk to me. That's how we became friends. We got very close at one point. We held hands and stuff like that. But one day I received a text message from him. Well he sent me a picture. I opened it. It was a picture of him were he was almost nude. Then he texted me saying sorry it was meant for someone else. That shattered me. I blocked him everywhere. I didn't talk to him afterwards. It's been 3 years. You know I go to the gym where women and men train separately right ? " she asks.
"Yes" Rose answers.
" Well I recently started going again and that's when I saw him again. After 3 fucking years.
He saw me to. Afterwards he sent me a follow request on Instagram. I accepted it and that's how we started talking again. " Faith explains.
I am furious at her for accepting his follow request. It's obvious that he's a fuckboy. Well maybe, hopefully he changed. He better have changed.
" Okay girl you are stupid for accepting his follow request." Rose says.
Bella and me nod in agreement.
" Well maybe he changed it's been 3 years after all!" She tries to argue.
" Uhm still. And what if he didn't change? " I ask.
" Well then at least I tried okay." She answers.
" well it's up to you, you know" Bella says
" If you're comfortable with it then I am to." She adds.
" Well still. Be careful." I say. Faith just nods. We sit there and talk for a bit. Suddenly Brandon comes up to me and slaps me on my head without any reason.
" Ouch! What was that for ?" I ask him annoyed.
" For not waiting for me so we could chill all together." He says.
" No one wants you that's the reason brother" I say annoyed. Brandon is a good friend of mine. We just recently became good friends tho. Our little faith used to have a crush on him before I even knew him.
" Nahh you love me" he says. I roll my eyes at him. Okay so let's skip to the time we all can go home. I walk to my car
" Meena!! Wait for me!" Faith shouts. I turn around.
" Whats up ? " I ask her.
" Do you want to hang out for a bit ?" She asks me.
" Sure are Rose and Bella coming as well ?" I ask her.
" Nahhh they can't I asked them already." She answers. I nod and we continue to walk to my car together. I call my sister and tell her I won't be picking her up today.
" So to our usual place ?" I ask Faith. She nods her head. I start driving. Faith connects to the Bluetooth of my car and starts playing Location by Khalid. That's our favorite song. We start jamming together.
" At Times I wonder why I fool with you. But this is new to me this is new to you, Initially I didn't wanna fall for you......" both faith and me sing. About 10 min later we arrive to our Location. It's a park we used to hang out since we were little. It holds so many memories for us. Also they have the best ice cream here. We get out of the car and walk to the small ice cream shop. We go inside and get ourself two scoops of ice cream. I chose the flavor mango and strawberry and Faith got herself one scoop of chocolate and vanilla. We go outside and start to stroll again.
" So how are you holding up?" Faith asks me. I really just wanted to avoid talking about this topic but it was going to come up eventually.
" I'm doing fine!" I try to convince her. She raises a eyebrow at me. I guess I failed at that.
" Don't lie to me." She says.
" What do you want to hear from me than?" I say a bit annoyed.
" Just tell me how you feel. It's not good to keep all the feelings inside. "She says. She does have a point there. I guess I should talk to someone about it. Here it goes...........:
