I scrolled through comments on one of my latest Instagram posts. My Facebook account had shared a memory from December 22, 2010, and I couldn't believe the self hate I had back then. It's been a very long decade and I'm glad it's over.
I had typed a caption about how sad I was that I had been so self conscious and how it's been getting better. To be completely honest, I still am a little self conscious, but it is definitely not as bad as it was back when I was younger. The comments were very supportive, so I shut my phone down and sat on my sofa. The decade has just finished and I have to say it was crazy.
I enjoyed my New Year's Party and was glad to ring in 2020, but I am a little melancholic. So much has happened in 10 years, and soon it will be 10 years since me and the girls won the X Factor UK. Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson are the greatest friends I could ever ask for. I never expected us to have as much success as we do now, and even though DNA had great reviews, it wasn't until Get Weird that I realised we might actually become world famous. I remember 2015. That was quite a year.
