"We did it, we did it," Jesy yells while swigging beer. We're celebrating the release of our single "Black Magic." It's number one in the UK and has been there for a week!
Perrie and I jump around gleefully while Leigh-Anne twerks with Jesy. A couple of our friends and family are here as we celebrate. Success has never felt so good.
When the party starts to slow down, I check in with the girls. Leigh and Jesy are doing well, but Pez is looking a little sad. She has for a while, ever since that day in March when the photo of Zayn surfaced.
"Perrie, it's really okay," I try to tell her. She shakes her head and sighs.
"Jade, you just don't understand," Perrie says. "I don't feel like we love each other like we used to."
"Don't say that!" I start to say, but Perrie walks away before I can finish. I feel terrible, but I know there's only so much I could do. She had said in a lot of interviews how she didn't want to talk about the marriage, even though they had been engaged for a while. I really hope it gets better. It hurts my heart to see her like this.
Jesy saunters over to me, looking a little tipsy.
"Aw Jeed. Does Perrie not want to your" "SHUT IT," I interrupt Jesy. I don't want to talk and I don't like her using Perrie's pet name for me. She merely laughs and walks away.
"What was that about?" Leigh-Anne asks.
"Nothing," I mutter and walk away. As I sit on the floor, my mind yells at me for being rude to Jesy. Jeed is what all the girls call me, but I do like it when Perrie says it. We are rather close, and I love all the girls, Perrie just gets me a little bit more.
