[John's POV]
It was February 28th. The love of my life's birthday. And I was going to give her the best surprise I could think of.
We have been together five and a half years and I love her with all my heart.
From her beautiful green eyes that remind me of of the warm summers day when we met. Her light brown hair that extends to her shoulders. Her cute little button nose and her loud laugh that is contagious.
Fallon is her name and I, John Mulaney, love her.
As I waited for her to come home, I continued to put rose petals around the front entrance of the house. I checked the box in my suit pocket that was there for safekeeping.
I sent her off to an all-day painting thing with her friend. She loves painting, especially painting boobs. She is so odd, I love her.
I heard a car pull up in the driveway and I straightened up my suit.
She walked in the door and gasped slightly at the candles and rose petals everywhere.
I looked at her and smiled.
"Oh my god, John.." She said, smiling with tears swelling up in her eyes.
"I wanted to surprise you." I said, with a smirk.
"Aw.." She said and the short Irish girl I loved jumped into my arms for the warm embrace of my hug.
"I have one more surprise." I said, and she pulled away from the hug.
"What is it?" She asked, with such a childlike innocence left behind from her past, her face filled with happiness and the delight only a tiny human, such as a child, could display.
"I could not imagine being with anyone else. I love all of you, every single part of you. I love you with all my heart. I can't believe how lucky I am to have such amazing person with whom I share the same humour. I wouldn't mind spending my entire life with you and waking up to your beautiful smile. I couldnt be with anyone else and be this happy. I am the luckiest man alive," I bent down on one knee. "Please, make me luckier and be my wife."
She was smiling and in tears. "YES!" She shouted and hugged me, once again.
I kissed her and I slipped the ring on her finger.
"Oh, you're so getting lucky tonight." She said and giggled when I dragged her off to the bedroom.
I love this girl.
