Melanie walked through the school hallways making her way to her first-period class.
She walked into English and took her seat.
"Meeeeelly," she heard a voice calling from behind her.
She rolled her eyes and turned around.
"Hi Jerod," she said nicely-being kind.

Making her smile. Jerod was a nice person but he could be a little overbearing sometimes. Melanie felt like he tried too her.

By the end of second block, Melanie was already ready to go.

She wondered what she wanted it for, but she assumed it was to look on someone's page or something.
"Okay here," she said handing it over.
