So I have decided that when I have an uneventful day and don't go to the barn, I will try and post my old rides and different things I've done lol! So I'm gonna start now!
This happened at my old barn:
At my old barn, my friend and I were never really watched and did things that we weren't exactly supposed to do. Some of the stuff was a little bit dangerous lol, but I was younger and didn't think of that. Anyway, I leased a horse named Cooper and he was so safe and gentle. So one day, in the round pen behind the barn when the owner of this barn was in her house, my friend and I were riding western, she was on Gabe and I was on Cooper, and we decided to stand up on the horses. So I stood up on Cooper and scratched the top of the saddle with my boots by accident. I was so scared that the owner would find out about us standing up (she never did lol). Anyway, my friend stood up and didn't do a thing to the saddle. Long story short, I never stood up on the horse with that saddle again! The saddle was smooth and kind of had the texture of leather like an English saddle so it was easy to scratch. Luckily I didn't ruin it. Only gave it a few scratches. Lol, don't take after me!
