(Steve)
"Kiss me."
"What?" I asked in disbelief.
"Public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable."
"Yes they do."
Before Steve could prepare himself Natasha was kissing him.
Natasha Romanoff, the deadly assassin, was kissing him.
Her lips tasted like strawberry?
Strawberries, yes.
They kissed for a favorable 8 seconds. And those seconds were possibly the best 8 seconds of Steve's life in the 21st century.
"Are you still uncomfortable?" she said in a pretty badass tone.
"That's not exactly the word I would use." I replied.
What was the word I would use? I thought as I followed Nat down the escalator just looking at her.
(Natasha)
I saw the Hydra agent coming up the escalator and knew I needed a way for him not to see me and Steve.
I did the first thing that came to my mind.
"Kiss me." I said turning around.
"What?" Steve asked confused.
"Public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable."
"Yes they do."
I barely let him finish his sentence as I pulled him in.
About 3 seconds in I processed that I was basically making out with Steve.
His lips tasted like vanilla, and surprisingly soft for a 95 year old.
"No Romanoff he's your friend. Come up with something witty to say so it's not awkward."
I was able to come up with, "Are you still uncomfortable?"
"That's not exactly the word I would use." he responded.
What word would he use?
Walking down that escalator I almost felt vulnerable, scared? That doesn't happen to me, and that shouldn't happen to me. Is it Steve?hey!
