The next day I cried and cried till I couldn't cry anymore. What did I do to deserve to be treated this way? I didn't do anything to josh. Why is it that he had to abuse me? Maybe I should tell my parents about it but I can't tell them because they never believe anything I tell them. Maybe I should talk to my friends about it and see what they say .
The next day at school I have a conversation with Jessica, my best friend. Jessica is 5'7, blonde hair, green eyes. Jessica loves to read, dance and sing.
"Hey, Jessica", I said.
"Hey, Skylar", What's up", Jessica said.
" I think I need to end my relationship with Josh", I said.
" How come", Jessica said.
" Josh is abusing me. He punched me four times in the stomach and left a bruise", I said.
" Oh my god Skylar are you okay", Jessica said scared.
" I'm fine, but don't know what to do about Josh", I said
" I think that you should talk to your parents about this Skylar", Jessica said.
" My parents won't believe me. They never believe anything I say. They love Josh. What do I do"? I said.
" I don't know, but I got to get to class Skylar, sorry bye", Jessica said.
" Okay, bye , I started crying.
