Things happen in the blink of an eye

CHAPTER 5

The next day I come home from school and I leave this letter on the kitchen table maybe my parents will read this. Next thing I do is start cutting myself again. I need Josh back in my life. I miss him so much right now. Next thing I do is call Josh but he doesn't answer his phone so I leave a voicemail "Hey, Josh it's me just wanted to let you know that I still love you and want to be with you. But I'm killing myself bye . After that I start overdosing on anti-depressants my dad takes. Next thing you know there is a bottle of pills laying on the bathroom floor.

One hour later

"Mom, Dad", I yell.

"Oh my god Skylar what are you doing", her parents say.
Skylar didn't answer.

" Oh my god", her parents said. What do we do?
Josh walks in the house and up the stairs to see Skylar laying on the bathroom floor and her parents freaking out.

Josh says" Did you get the letter she left on the kitchen table you should read it. It might explain things. But first I already called 9-1-1 there on their way. So the parents read the letter out loud. This is what it said:

Dear whoever reads this:
I hope you all know that I love you all and that you were once really important to me. But it's time that I say goodbye. It sucks that my parents won't know that I love them very much. I hope you know josh that I loved you and wish we could still be together but this me saying goodbye. I love you Jessica you were the best. I will miss you all.

" Why would she do something like this ", her parents said.

Josh answers and starts crying.

" It's all my fault I pressured her to do things she didn't want to do. I didn't treat her like a princess. I still love her. I hope she is okay. I want to be with her again. I hope she will give me a second chance.
