You didn't wake up much after that. You slept soundly until you heard a banging on your door. It was time for you to wake up, sadly.

Groaning, you shove the covers off of you, and scratch your head in annoyance. The first day of vacation and you can't sleep in? The audacity your parents had in keeping you at a consistent sleeping cycle.

Pushing yourself off of your bed, you begin to walk towards your bathroom. "...en is getting lonely..." an electric voice sends goosebumps up your arms. You've stopped, listening for the voice again. Surely, this wasn't your imagination if this was the second time. You look around the room, but there was nothing to look for. You breathe out in a nervous hum, and decide to just do your usual routine.

It was too bad you couldn't stop the voice from following. You heard the quote being repeated from the moment you stepped into the bathroom. It wasn't until you finished brushing your teeth that you heard the entire sentence. "BEN is getting lonely." BEN. Why did that name sound so familiar?

You finish your routine just as the voice got louder. Rushing into your room, you feel your heart pound in fear. Where was it coming from, and why was it scaring you so much? Your head snaps towards the laptop open on your desk. The volume had increased, and you look at the screen set onto a website you never typed in: Cleverbot.

You hadn't even used that website since middle school. You didn't use it for anything other than trying to do some stupid summoning technique. Shaking your head, you go over and slam the laptop cover down. You ignore the shock you felt in doing so, and move towards your dresser to get changed.

"You shouldn't have done that" This time, it was a loud whisper. You freeze, feeling a cold breath hover down your neck. You bite your lip, silently praying that it was one of your parents coming to check on you. To your surprise, when you slam yourself against the wall, there's nobody there. With your hand covering your pounding heart, you look back to the laptop, it's cover back open.

Crazy. You must be crazy. You close your eyes for a brief moment, trying to calm your nerves. A staticky sound comes from your laptop, and you begin to hear footsteps move towards you. You didn't dare open your eyes, scared to meet with an alien of some sort. When you feel two arms slam onto your shoulders, you scream and open your eyes. Your parents are there, a goofy smile plastered onto their faces.

"You in there, bud? It's nearly lunch time come on down." With a chuckle, you watch them leave you dumbfounded in place. A quick glance towards your closed laptop was enough to leave. You must be insane. You step forward, and land right into a puddle.

"How did that even get there?" You groan, using a dirty towel in the hamper to dry the floor and your foot. Following your parents' lead, you walk out the door.

That is, not until you hear an electric cackle from the laptop.
