my feelings for her

[adrien's pov]
ever since high school, i became a player, girls only likes me for my looks and broke my heart a couple of times so since then i make them fall in love with me and then break their heart. but when i saw marinette; the hottest girl in campus along the corridor the other day, i thought she would fall for my charms like any other fangirls of mine but no! instead she rejected me! when i whistled and winked, she didn't bother to smile back! then i thought maybe she's different or trying hard to get. i'm gonna ask her to be my girlfriend and see her reaction.
[third person's pov]
it's 10pm and they both had a long day at school so they decided to sleep early tonight. marinette woke up at 2 in the morning and couldn't sleep so she went out for some fresh air. their college was nearby a lake, the sound of the water made her calm, she looked at the sky, the stars and the moon were shining so bright and there was no sound of crickets made her even relaxed. then a strong pair of arms wrapped her waist. "why are you awake, princess?" she recognized that voice and the nickname, it was adrien! she pulled back replying "couldn't sleep" looking back at the sky. they chatted for awhile till adrien asked her to be his girlfriend. since he was the biggest playboy in school, she didn't really trust him. she straight up said no, looked down and walked away from him. with that, he had fallen in love with her! she didn't fall for his looks but is willing to accept him as a friend. he thought to himself and smiled.
*morning*
marinette left early leaving a note on adrien's table saying 'hey i'm sorry about just now! we could still be friends! and get to know each other better! i didn't want to wake you up but i'm kinda late so byee!' he smiled and got ready for school. girls will always wait for him outside his dorm but unfortunately today he was shook to find none waiting for him. his class starts later than marinette so he drove to buy a bouquet of roses for her. he then placed it in her locker with the note 'for you princess'. then he left.
[marinette's pov]
i find a bouquet of roses with a note 'for you princess' i smiled and walked back to my dorm to place the roses in a vase of water.
[third person's pov]
ever since that day, adrien and marinette became really close and were almost inseparable. she might even have feelings for him! but something was holding her back. "hey mari? i'll be leaving for new york next week, my dad's company decided to work there for a collaboration so i guess i have to tag along so we won't be hanging out after next week but i'll come back in a year to continue college!" he said. after she heard the news, all she could reply was "oh, good for you, adrien." she smiled weakly. time flies! gosh! it's saturday and he's leaving on sunday! and will be back next year.. pretty long huh? marinette thought to herself.
*sunday, at 7am*
marinette, alya and nino were sending him off at the airport to say their goodbyes and left him with natalie and gabriel. adrien and marinette were disappointed not knowing they have feelings for each other.
