[ 3 | Headache ]

"Have you done the homework for Chem?"

Mirae sighed ruffling her bangs and closing the door to her locker that she had finally figured out the combination for after almost a month and a half of being here to reveal the pink locks and smiling face of her new friend Na Jaemin, his 'trait' as they seem to call it here is being able to shape shift and although Mirae found it quite cool she noticed that he never uses it.

"we had homework?" Jeno asked coming from behind him hands inside his bomber jacket that seemed to suit his uniform well, Mirae had found out that the boy is almost indestructible and he's unbelievably strong once hearing from Renjun that Jeno has kicked a car off its side once.

Mirae half smiled shaking her hand opening her locker back up and grabbing her notes tossing it at the two and turning around to walk towards the cafeteria.

"Thanks! You're the best rae" Jaemin clapped watching her turn around before speeding up making sure to catch up while Jeno closed her locker chasing after the two seeing them already walk into the room.

"So boys, where are the rest?" Mirae asked sitting down at their usual spot, Jeno and Jaemin took their seats on either sides of her.

Mirae thought it was unusual for her to make any connections this early into her school year but she didn't mind, although she was planning on being that edgy teen who talks about how much she doesn't need friends but she rethought about it and soon enough she was attending lunch with these boys every lunch period and even after school studying out in the courtyard with Renjun while the other four just did whatever they did.

"Renjun has to help coach Seo with something being the overachiever that he is and the other two have lunch time detention" Jaemin explained and she nodded shrugging.

The table sat in silence while Mirae stared at her phone, Jaemin and Jeno talked back and forth about different things when someone decided to take a seat beside straight across from Mirae.

"Hi guys" Mirae looked up from her phone seeing the girl she had bumped into on her first day, it was weird, Jaemin always said that she usually kept to her table where what a normal school would call the 'popular' table.

"Hey?"Jeno greeted , it came out more as a question more than anything though, Yuna giggled momentarily before smiling.

"No offence Yuna but why are you here?" Jaemin asked confused, Yuna shrugged.

"Since this weekend is the start of the home room football competition theres going to be a party and I'm here to invite you all, all of you" She smiled and Mirae momentarily felt nauseous.

"We aren't allowed to hold parties though?" Jeno said shutting down any idea they thought she had.

"I know that silly, it's not happening on school grounds it'll be held in the forest down the road from here, towns too far away for any type of clubbing so we thought we'd hold a bonfire, so I hope to see you guys there" Yuna said getting up not giving the trio anytime to refuse and walked away and for a moment Mirae felt like she couldn't finally breathe.

"That was-"

"Weird"

Mirae sighed feeling a slight headache coming on, she closed her eyes blocking the teachers talking out and laid her head down onto her desk fisting her hands together.

A loud slap had startled the girl and she squealed opening her eyes, the lights flickered almost blowing and the room fell silent, looking up she saw the book her teacher had in her hand planted on her desk, the teacher had slammed the book onto her desk 'waking' her up.

"You weren't sleeping in my class were you Miss Song" Professor Kim sneered and Mirae resided the urge to roll her eyes and shook her head, the class all reacting in different ways, some finding it funny while others avoided the interaction.

"No sir, I just have a headache, sorry about the interruption" Mirae bit back her any nasty remarks she would've said and apologised, the professor nodded and walked back to the front while Mirae tried to focus back onto the board when a hand tapped her shoulder.

Turning around she met the eyes of someone she's never talked to before but knew the name of since he was in most of her classes, Kim Junkyu.

"You ok?" He asked eyebrows furrowing, she smiled and nodded thanking him for his concern and told him not to worry about it while she turned back around , Mirae gripped her pencil once more waiting for the end of the day.

The end of the day came and Mirae was asked to study in the Library after school with the group, on her way through the courtyard she could feel the splitting headache she felt in class and closed her eyes for a second and just walked on auto pilot for a second and opened her eyes seeing no one was around except someone who was sitting outside of a classroom.

Making it to the library she joined the group that was already there and joined the conversation about the party, they all concluded that they wanted to go and Mirae was sure to be apart of it.

"Hey, what can Yuna do?" Mirae asked as if they were all magicians, The group stopped talking not really knowing how to word it.

"Have you seen twilight breaking dawn?" Jeno asked all of a sudden, Jaemins eyes widened and he nodded knowing where Jeno was going with this.

"Uh yeah?" Mirae asked confused.

"That blonde chick who's apart of the Voltori, it's sort of like that I guess, we'll that's the only way to explain it" Jeno concluded, Renjun clapped making a joke about how Jeno finally sounded smart for once.

"Interesting"
