14. Son of a bitch.

~Regina's P.O.V.~

"Really brave of you Ace, really brave," I muttered to myself as I sped the car to catch up to Ace.

Once he stopped driving I realized that he stopped in front of a hospital. Who's dead?

"Ace, wait up!" I yelled as I came up to him.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing here?" he yelled at me.

" Ace calm down, I have no idea what you're talking about," I said as my brain starting puzzling around what could have happened.

"Don't you dare act like you have nothing to do with the fact that my brother is in the hospital," he yelled again as he began flaring up.

"I had nothing to do with it, I swear," I tried to reason with him.

"SHUT UP!" he yelled at me as he pushed me against a cold wall and held my neck choking me as I started coughing.

"A-Ace stop-p," I started coughing hysterically as my feet lost contact with the ground.

I twisted his hand that was on my neck and punched him until he fell on the cold ground and I fell too, trying to control my breathing while coughing.

"Just so you know, I was with you the whole day in school, so there is no possible way that I was the cause of Alex being here," and with that, I left him on the ground, into the car, and sped home.

My phone started ringing on my way. I picked it up and put it on the speaker of the car.

"Hey, Gina,"

"Hey, A,"

"Did you hear what happened this afternoon?"

"Yeah, unfortunately, I did,"

"Do you know how it happened?"

"No, I was too busy getting choked,"

"What?"

"Never mind, I'll explain later,"

"Well, something is happening,"

"What do you mean? What's wrong?"

"Alex got attacked by Russians, it was a trap, not an unexpected shipment from Italy as told,"

Suddenly my blood began to boil as I sped up the car and took a rough turn with my car. And I guess she felt it too.

"Regina, stop the car right now,"

"They can't just leave us alone, can they?!"

"Regina, por llorar fuerte, deja de conducir!" (Regina, for crying out loud, stop driving)

"I'm sorry Alice but they got themselves in it," and with that, I threw my phone in the car and speeded up, and headed towards their warehouse.

Once I was there, I parked the car somewhere safe and took a gun from the back trunk just for protection with its' silencer and just as I was about to attack the first guard from the back door into the warehouse I felt something cold in my neck and after that all I saw was black.

Son of a bitch.
